I believe it's still better to run the animals package. Ward is too slow in a lot of situations and the draw that animals give you is pretty strong.
I had to make a couple of budget changes as I don't have new Yogg or a second Survival - I replaced them with the second Solar Eclipse and a Scrapyard Colossus - but it's a hoot. Played a minionless C'thun Mage and even though he stopped me removing Kalecgos for four or five turns I was still able to pressure him badly enough that he had a brainfart and played Deck of Lunacy before he drew his fourth C'thun piece. Doubled Cenarion Wards feels like enough to hold those decks off until Survival/Clown can do its work.
OP wins 1 game with this deck.
“HoLy ShIt GuYz 100% WiNrAtE OmEgA BrOkEn”
Wth is wrong with all those clickbait titles. No deck has a consistent 100% winrate.
Seems like a cool deck to try though.
This deck is an instant loss against any type of aggro deck
Not remotely true. In many cases I was able to ramp to 10 mana by turn 5 and overwhelm the board. Lunar eclipse is a great removal card (deals with phase hunter, etc.). You can get anubisath, overflow, and umbral owl out so early in the game you can stall long enough to drop a board of 8/8 clowns or a double cenarion ward (16 armor and 2 big minions) turn 6 or 7. I took this deck from D10-D5 with 3 losses. I was skeptical to start but seriously this just wins.
My worst loss was to tickatus warlock who milled me 20 cards and fatigued me in 2 turns, I think that is going to be a very good deck and you can't really do much to stop it, it is the best counter to this deck because of overflow.
Druid is my most played class and I have played enough to know that if you do not draw any ramp it is an auto loss against aggro. You will not be able to stall long enough to get this deck goin. The only "removal" in this deck is a 3 drop minion, no swipe or wrath. You can not do anything when they play a hoard of minions early on.
Guess YMMV but I had zero issue winning a ton of games with this deck.
Is this viable to climb from gold?
If so what's your final deck, do not want to just waste dust :(
I just realized potential of Survival of the Fittest + Carnival Clown combo. Nice! I still haven't played during new xpac, but I overall love idea of this deck. Take my upvote.
OK not 100% WR but..... I think I'm at 71% so far in diamond. and more importantly this is actually fun to play. nice!
Took me from D10 to D5 79% WR after really struggling this month. So thank you again! The only losses were to 2 face hunter decks where I had bad mulligans.
I like this list a lot. I agree with Timo2642 for the swaps. I might drop a clown for something else though.
Maybe Steel Beetle for early game.
Looks like a great deck, thanks for the list! I was building a Yogg druid deck as well but more spell based. Your list looks much stronger, tho so I will give it a try.
I am including King Phaoris to the list instead of Omu and 1 more Solar Eclipse instead of 1 Innervate.
What's a good alternative to Forest Warden Omu? I do not have King Phaoris either
