Why there is Gang Up and no Lab Recruiter?
It dilutes the Elven Minstrel pool... Plus you can Cold Light on 3 followed by a Prep' and Gang Up; which I think is pretty ideal, unless you can change my mind! :)
Coldlight + gang up on 3 is ideal in what world? Have you tried playing mill rogue in wild recently? The meta is way too fast for that and you will get run over easily by just drawing them the cards they need. Lab recruiter not only provides a body for some tempo, but also can be used to go infinite with valeera as well as paired with brann and/or shadowstep for more shuffles for more impact in the later turns. And no vanish? I don't see how you expect to survive against anything that isn't control. Minstrel is too slow a lot of the time, so you might want to run the new card Swindle instead. Fan of Knives is horrible against everything except odd paladin, so it's not really worth running unless the meta has a ton of odd paladin. Definitely think you'll need vanish instead of those. Vanish is especially good now that cloak of shadows exists. I think evasion is overkill if you do decide to include vanish, and think heal would be more valuable, like antique healbots and maybe a zilliax. I also think it would be useful to have more control tools like backstabs and Flik Skyshiv. Flik is so powerful in wild, it's hard for me to justify not including it, backstabs are mostly to minimize damage in the early game, but it would depend just how fast eh meta was.
Good points.
You make some good points, and I'll certainly be playing around with the deck and I'll take in to account everything you've mentioned here :)
