So this is an idea that has been running around the place a little bit on the wild ladder but I wanted to see if I could give this a shot on the standard ladder. Here is the OTK combo:
Setup:
- Have at least 9 mana.
- Have armor that is >/= your opponents health.
- Have Soulbound Ashtongue, Silas Darkmoon, and Shield Slam in hand.
OTK:
- Play Soulbound Ashtongue.
- Play Silas Darkmoon.
- Rotate Soulbound Ashtongue to your opponent [i.e. if Ashtongue is to the right of Silas, rotate the board to the right].
- Cast Shield Slam on Soulbound Ashtongue.
- ???
- EZ Clap
The game plan is relatively simple. The package built around this should be arranged around the current meta, but a general tempo/control list will do just fine.
Some ideas you might consider for your package:
- Bombs: This will help make sure that the opponent is at a small enough health that you can perform the OTK. Though bombs can be inconsistent it will also act as an alternative win condition in some cases if need be.
- Alexstraza: Great for getting your opponents to the health total they need to be at, especially if you're struggling with armor makers. I personally do not include her in this list since I do not want Lorekeeper Polekelt to be interfeered with when tutoring for Silas.
- Moargg Artificer: Not a bad idea, as it doubles the damage your shield slam will do, but can be difficult if you're trying to do everything on a single turn. Works in wild with thaurassan though!
If you have any suggestions for the deck or are willing to try it out please let me know! I will personally be trying this deck out and will post my results within a few days here. In the mean time, have a wonderful day!
Why would you play Polkeit when 2 of your combo pieces cost 1 mana. Also Running Scythe without running Cutting Class doesnt really make sense.
