Hi guys fire here, I have been playing around with this new priest deck i made and well it is awesome and dominating. Priest now has a awesome race to play with which I think is very competitive.
Description and Deck composition
This deck can own the early game with buff spells and minions like Velen's Chosen , Mechwarper , Spider Tank and Dark Cultist .
It then can sustain into midgame and lategame with the use of Lesser Heal with the buffs off of Upgraded Repair Bot and again Velen's Chosen. The new priest legendary Vol'jin also helps into the late game by making it easier to kill big body's and gaining this usually quite large amount of health.
Mulligan strategies
Mulligan wise you should be looking and mulligan aggressively for your early game with Mechwarper , Spider Tank and Dark Cultist. This is all while bearing in mind if you have a Mechwarper curve into a 4 drop in someway you should keep the 4 drop in hand whilst you should not without the Mechwarper . You can also keep Velen's Chosen against classes you think won't be able to deal with a coin 3 drop into Velen's Chosen .
Replacements for craftable legendarys
Vol'jin : should probably put in a Shadow Word:Death to replace this but shold be the 1st on the craft list as this card is so damn good.
Sylvanas Windrunner : I would probably put in a Mind Control to replace this and is the second least important legendary.
Troggzor the Earthinator : The second most important legendary and just owns control decks preventing them from using there removal. But if i had to replace it i would most probably use any other good 6 or 8 drop legendary like Cairne Bloodhoof or Ragnaros the Firelord or Kel'Thuzad or Foe Reaper 4000 anyway i think you get the picture. If you have two of them missing replace for Spectral Knight or Sludge Belcher . Note: Sludge Belcher is probably just a lot better forgot it was really priest as i have not played with these cards in deck i am only suggesting replacements.
Conclusion
This deck so far in testing has done well against all decks in general and unfortunately i have not had enough chance to do testing against everything neither is it very possible at the minute with all the new archetypes it is impossible to conclusively say it is or not good against any class in particular until i can compare against new archetypes.
I will continue to update the deck as the meta changes

Edited card changes and also Mimiron's Head has been removed for carine as I think it is a more solid card in general after testing
very nice and surprising deck, since it has no auchenai circle or blademaster circle.
But thus it lacks boardclear and is therefore weak vs zoo. Lucky enough, zoo isnt that popular anymore these days (at least thats my expirience on rank 6). But anyway, maybe a 2nd Holy Nova might be a good idea(even more since we have spellpower from velens chosen). Maybe for a mechwarper? I often didnt find that much use for him.
Maybe Defender of Argus might be a good card, since we have 0 taunts, plenty of minions and sometimes miss 1 attack
Another neat improvement might be Holy Smite, for the obvious combo with Voljin. We also have spellpower from velens chosen. But on the other hand, we have plenty of earlygame pressure. SW:P might be better tho. (I'm not sure about this one)
This deck has been crushing mages and brought me on a straight win streak from 20 to 13. I start meeting faster decks from that point forward and the lack of AOE clears vs fast multi-minion starts owns this deck. Hope you guys can suggest some changes.
The only problem I had with this deck is that there are NO taunts to protect anything on here..
I couldn't either stay alive long enough to get anything out.. nor were my mechs able to stay alive to even have board control.
now please tell me.. is there something I can do to get this deck right? or post a few videos on how to play it.. so I can get an idea on how to actually win with this deck
Might do that at some point and i would probably actually have to watch you play to figure out what if anything you are doing wrong :)
do you have any vids that I could see, just to get an idea of what to do correctly?
ive ran this deck multiple times and still have the same probs. especially against rush decks.
I replaced one of the PW:S with a PW:D and the Head with an Enhance-O Mech. Mixed results on this, running about 50% or so on current ladder.
I think also one other really good replacement for Troggzor the Earthinator would be Sneed's Old Shredder. But love the deck man!
This deck is pretty dope. Only problem I have is whether i should place down Shrinkmeister. Other than that I'm have alot of fun with this deck.

I'm missing Mimiron's head and using Piloted Sky Golem instead - seems to be working. I might consider a Black Knight but there seems to be enough answers for the amount of taunts in the meta right now.
I was also worried about lack of taunts in the deck but it seems like we're the aggressors most of the time - the deck is fantastic at maintaining tempo. Anyway, kudos on a great deck.
This deck is awesome, i lack a few cards, the essentials i guess you could say. Which isn't the best, but i have replaced Mimiron's Head and [card]Troggzor the Earthinator[/card] with Sludge Belcher and Shadow Word: Death.
Also i replaced Sylvanas Windrunner with Mind Control.
It seems to work fine for now around ranks 12-10, but i'm sure there are better replacements, any comments ideas for my replacements?

Edit: I also lack Dark Cultist and i replaced those with Mass Dispel and another Holy Nova. The Mass Dispel replacement is mostly because of all the buffed minions you see on ladder now, all the mechs with buffs, especially the buffs from Enhance-o Mechano.
Absolutely love this deck. Have been having great success past couple of days; while i have not made any statistics I feel the win% is around 75%. Vol'jin is absolute beast that can swing a game to player favor. One of my fav combos with him is to steal the hp from something like Molten Giant and then use the spare part that swaps attack and health following with SW:P if necessary. There are so many other ways to utilize it as well that I cant even list it.
While people have criticized Mimiron's Head a lot here I think it fits really well. I have won a couple of freeze mages with the fact that I have spawned a V-07-TR-0N that cannot be frozen as it spawns on my turn. When you add a Velen's Chosen on it mega-windfury goes nuts. Even if Mimiron's Heads effect doesnt go through it baits a lot of removal from the opponent that should be saved for Vol'jin or Troggzor the Earthinator.
Aside from the legendaries my favourite combo, that actually made me do this post in the first place, is what Shrinkmeister is cabable of. It gives the user a chance to do favourable trades but usually I use it to debuff opponents Sludge Belcher by 2 attack and follow up with a Cabal Shadow Priest. While it always doesnt lead to instant concede by opponent it sure gives the priest a huge boost to presence while taking quite precious card from opponent.
Only opponent i have really struggled with is control warrior. If they manage to hit in those pesky Executes I pretty much always fall too far behind. Its tough when they tend to capitalize on wounded minions and this deck cant always keep minions on full health but rather buff them on high health which is not necessarily always the same. Especially Death's Bite deathrattle + Explosive Sheep early wreaks havoc on this deck.
Overall 10/10. Will play again :)
The spare parts are fun to play with as well. You can Shrinkmeister into Shadow Madness into the spare part that puts a friendly minion back into your hand. Final result is an up to 5 attack minion off their board, into your hand, with a Shrinkmeister on the board. All for 7 mana.
Also, the combo of Velen's Chosen or Shrinkmeister allow for a lot of flexibility of Shadow Words. It eliminates the dead zone 4 attack minions. You can shrink them to 2 attack at wipe with SWP. Or, if you are in a pinch, you can give them attack with Velen's Chosen and use SWD. Giving you a wider range at which to use either making one of each more usable than decks without those other 2 cards.
With no Auchenai + Circle combo and only one Holy Nova and SW:P, this deck gets owned hard by aggro (especially early undertakers).
I personally find it isn't that much of a problem most decks cut down a little on death rattles thus allowing you to use 3 drops to trade in and usually not die. Or even use shrinkmeister.
I have had trouble with Hunters that have great hands and play super fast. Otherwise, aggro hasn't been a big problem. Interestingly, what can really hurt this deck is the crazy new weapon decks from the Rogues. When facing a Rogue with a 6/3 weapon, it can be a bit intimidating.
It's a remarkably effective deck for a deck without silence, weapon removal or serious board clears in a meta where those things are usually necessary.
This is among the few decks since GvG's launch that I have been doing consistently well with on ladder. Had a 6/17 yeti earlier from 2x repair bots and Velen's Chosen.. That was nice. Also had an 8/9 Vol'jin from stealing a Belcher's health and Velen's Chosen. Priest burst ftw!!
so the robot head is just to bait the removal? if I think in that way, it might actually good for 5 drop! <3
Awesome Deck, changed a few cards (-2Power Word: Shield, -Mimiron's Head, -1Cabal Shadow Priest, + 2Holy Fire, +1Holy Smite, + Shadow Word: Death) but super solid. Had a 12:3 ratio for my first few games, hunters can be difficult but surely beatable
Anyone who thinks Spectral Knight is a good idea in Priest...
