Homebrew deck I made to get legend in wild after using something similar in Standard. The meta in Wild is pretty wide-open right now, there's no real dominant deck. I was able to take advantage of the fact that most of my opponents approached their mulligan as if I were Kingsbane Rogue, so I was able to take them by surprise.
You can tailor the secret package to the meta. Seeing lots of control? Add another copy of Cheat Death. Playing against a lot of wide boards? Add a Sudden Betrayal. Combo decks ruining your life? Add a copy of Evasion.
Feel free to ask me questions in the comments.
Edit: Thanks for getting me on the front page! This is by no means a tier 1 deck, this is a deck you play for fun, but I know it's good enough to get to legend.
This is a tempo deck. There's no win-con, except for using Tess Greymane as a late-game Hail Mary. The goal is to get control of the board, use secrets to force your opponent into awkward plays, and out-value them in the late-game.
Mulligan:
Pharaoh Cat, Wand Thief, and Mad Scientist are auto-keeps. If I'm on coin, I keep Edwin VanCleef. If I have turn one and turn two plays, I keep Questing Adventurer or Secret Passage. If I know I'm going against a control deck, I keep Cheat Death with Hanar, VanCleef, or Adventurer. If I have Pharoah Cat or Wand Thief, I'll keep Shadowstep.
Like most Rogue decks, you're looking mostly for combos of cards. For example, if I know I'm going against Aggro, Dragon's Hoard and Vendetta are a nice combination to keep. Against control, the ideal three card hand is Shadowjeweler Hanar, Preparation, and Cheat Death. You can generate so much value with that combo, including the meme dream: infinite Hanar's.
Thanks for sharing !
Cool, I have been trying to make something like this work.
I like the idea. I'll give it a shot. Thanks
