I've been experimenting with totem shaman for WEEKS and this is my final product. its super super fun, and can run with the best decks out there. Its got aggro, and late game. This deck has serious pressure. I even smashed a 14/14 Edwin on turn 3 with this deck.

Don't be afraid to use your 0 cost cards early on for tempo. Trick Totem are busted, they generally do good for you. The Coin out any totem you can, do not Lightning Bloom out totems.

Exotic Mountseller can pop off mid - late game, much like druid of last expansion. You have six 0 cost spells + two 1 mana spells.

Ruststeed Raider Is good for a bit of stall or to clear an annoying minion. I've added Walking Fountain in this position, its a hard choice. But the meta is quite fast right now and 8 mana is a bit too much.

Just keep putting your totems out, buff them accordingly.  Totem Goliath is my favourite card of the expansion, its of the few Shaman cards where people actually have to think about playing around, take advantage of this.

Totem Goliath turn 5, Totemic Reflection turn 6, overloads synergize well. That's 2 big boys. you'll probably have a blood lust up your sleeve by then. I don't trade with my Totem Goliath unless I really need too. Make your opponent play around them or make them suffer with blood lust.

NOTE: If you have 2 Totem Goliath out and they both die, you will have multiples of totems. This does not restrict you having multiples of the same totems!

Mulligan: you really want to mulligan for your Tour Guide, Surging Tempest EVIL Totem Trick Totem Totemic Reflection Splitting Axe and Speaker Gidra in that order, that's if your playing anything other than Rogue, hunter or demon hunter and paladin. If you are playing one of those 4 you really want to mulligan for Sandstorm Elemental or Serpentshrine Portal for tempo.

Good openers are like Any totem + Totemic Reflection turn 3 and Splitting Axe turn 4. EVIL Totem I always coin out. They are your body builders if you can. a lackey or 2 works wonders in this deck. Generally because of Storm's Wrath

EDIT 1. Due to the obscene amount of rogues and hunters, I decided to add some tempo to combat them. Unfortunately I've had to bite the bullet and ditch a mount seller.

-1 Exotic Mountseller

-1 Ruststeed Raider

+1  Sandstorm Elemental

+1  Serpentshrine Portal

Depending on what you play against, you can swap these 2 cards around. You want to mulligan for that sandstorm elemental if you face Hunter Demon hunter or Rogue. Serpentshrine Portal aswell.

EDIT 2: I've listened to some comments below and decided to cut the Voracious Reader. I've also decided to add more tempo, because hunters and rogues are rampant at the moment. So I cut Ruststeed Raider as well.

I've also decided to cut the final Exotic Mountseller, looking at my statistics i only play her less that 20% of the time. And in such a tempo based meta, The Lurker Below is such a wonderful card. So I've sacrificed potential late game wide boards for even more tempo. I know, it isn't EXOTIC anymore. So the name will now be changed to Gidra Totem shaman. Its for the best. But if you don't have any dust to craft than i think the cheaper previous version of the deck is still fun and fine :).

The cards I've added and removed are.

-1 Ruststeed Raider

-2 Voracious Reader

-1 Exotic Mountseller

+1 Sandstorm Elemental

+1 Serpentshrine Portal

+1 Speaker Gidra

+1 The Lurker Below

Speaker Gidra was a surprising addition that worked out very well. it just combos with Storms wrath very well, as well as Serpentshrine Portal it can also be used as a mid game card. Its quite unique and can be used at all points of the game. If you use Totemic Reflection on Speaker Gidra , that's +5 +5 for 3 mana. it's good synergy.

EDIT 3: Ok, After even more extensive testing against only meta decks, Hunter, rogue, paladin and demon hunter, I've modified the list to give more flexibility.

I've removed and added

-1 Lightning Bloom

-1 Sandstorm Elemental

-1 Serpentshrine Portal

-1 The Lurker Below

+1 Devolving Missiles

+1 Surging Tempest

+1 Diligent Notetaker

+1 Torrent

-1 The Lurker Below is an excellent card, but its expensive to craft and can be too late to play sometimes. So I decided to go with a small spell package + a diligent notetaker. For extra value and board clear.

-1 Lightning Bloom, Serpentshrine Portal and Sandstorm Elemental because the overload is just to crippling and restricts your plays too much. i think the added cards can add similar options without the overload. Not only that but late game they just don't have enough reach to defeat some of the bigger minions you can encounter.

+1 Surging Tempest because I find there is a little gap in the 1 mana section, having that extra 1 mana card you can mulligan into really helps the deck.

+1 Devolving Missiles because it has a SORT OF similar effect as sandstorm as it can hit multiple enemies at once. but it has the advantage of really hurting buffed cards mid or late game.

+1 Diligent Notetaker because of the spell package inside the deck now synergizes well with it. I'm not sure if there's a possibility to run 2 of them in the deck.

+1 Torrent because its easily activated in this deck. a 1 mana 8 damage card is beautiful. single target removal which the deck previously didn't have.
