Hello all, I am bringing you my homecrafted highlander warrior list which highlights some of the powerful new Scholomance Academy cards. This deck has all answers to all sorts of matchups. It is fresh, competative, and most of all, fun (RATTLEGOREEEEEEEEEEEE).

Warrior was blessed with some amazing new cards this expansion. From Athletic Studies to Reaper's Scythe to my favorite, Rattlegore they all have found a home in a highlander control deck.

Being a highlander deck, Zephrys the Great is a valuable backbone. Use him when you know you have to to keep tempo. You have so many answers in your deck use him for Mass Dispel or an early Backstab against aggro.

This list is all about good tempo and getting ahead for a couple of turns after you clear the enemy's board (then do it again). I've been crushing Libram Paladins and finding answers for all of their minions. In Formation! and Smug Senior create taunt value when you're ahead.

Legendaries to start the list:

Dragonqueen Alexstrasza and Zephrys the Great, of course. They both do their part in making this deck work.

Siamat and Deathwing, Mad Aspect fit very well for removal and are large bodies for even more trades when they survive.

Rattlegore. This card is way good. Straight value and Brawl survivability. Get lucky and use him with the rush lackey for instant value.

Headmaster Kel'Thuzad with the many control spells is great for tempo (Coerce works great with him, steal an Ancient Guardian).

Minions:

Frightened Flunky is still a great early game card generating taunt.

Doomsayer is working more often than not in this deck.

EVIL Quartermaster for armor and lackey. What more do you want?

Omega Devastator is an underrated card. Deal 10 damage, develop a minion, and have 6 mana left over!?

Restless Mummy good card good trades.

Kargath Bladefist is such an amazing warrior card. Rush on the 4/4 for trades and then comes back to make trades lategame and give you armor when you need it the most.

Smug Senior has been very impressive in this deck for taunt VALUE. Pairs well with Omega Devastator on 10.

Onyx Magescribe can give you some removal warrior spells. May swap out down the line.

Troublemaker is great tempo and value.

Spells:

Athletic Studies is such a great card for warrior. Works with Kargath Bladefist and Restless Mummy for the early removal.

Sword and Board has been performing well and takes out Goody Two-Shields, Lightforged Zealot, and Satyr Overseer easily, while giving you extra armor for Shield Slam. Use it with Reaper's Scythe, Onyx Magescribe, Headmaster Kel'Thuzad for cheap spellburst activation/minion steal.

Whirlwind takes out those pesky divine shields.

Corsair Cache is still good post-nerf. The draw and extra durability on either weapon has been feeling perfect.

In Formation! is so good for tempo and keeping yourself alive.

Execute another removal, still doing work at two mana!

Slam is doing well in combination with the other spells and draws too.

Bladestorm works very well, taking out the double Twilight Runner or the Argent Braggart plays. 

Coerce. Damn what a strong card! Use with Headmaster Kel'Thuzad!

Shield Block for draw and armor still a perfect warrior card.

Molten Breath has been working great. Make sure to use it before you play your dragons!

Brawl. Good ol' Brawl.

The weapons:

Livewire Lance good removal and lackeys are great.

Reaper's Scythe is bonkers! Use with the cheap spells for the cleave.

Both weapons benefit from the extra durability when drawn with Corsair Cache.
