Bloodlust is in the deck is primarily because how insane it can be with Speaker Gidra, if the opponent can't deal with it your can push 18 damage to the face with her and with Lightning Bloom you can do pretty disgusting plays, having your Gidra on the board means that your opponent will always be scared of eating the 18 damage so they might use a good amount of resources to kill it.

The Bloodlust also just allows you to hit for more in general (obviously) but if Gidra wasn't a thing you definitely wouldn't run it.
