I thought that Cubelock would be pretty good with some extra healing for the early / mid game. Now I thought that [Mistress of Mixtures] would maybe not be as good as running [Soul Fragment]s, but I guess that Soulciologist could be replaced with Mistress if really needed.
I reached Legend playing only Cubelock this July, and I found out that against certain decks like Discard Warlock you really wanted a little more healing and removal. Overall, I decided to cut [Unstable Felbolt] in favor of [Soul Shear].
I know the healing is delayed, and now you have a lesser early game, but if you play your cards right (pun intended), you should be able to defeat aggressive decks in the early game, without even a single onedrop.
Against Pirate Warrior and Discolock I would advise you look for Dark Skies and Soul Fragment removal. Soulciologist is really good as a comeback card against these aggro decks, even better than [Lord Godfrey] in my opinion, as this gives you a lot more board than Godfrey does, whilst still giving you the ability to clear the opposing board.
I am probably going to try this deck out once the set launches, and see if Cubelock gets a good upgrade with Soul Fragments in this expansion.
