UPDATE: Optimised version of the deck updated
Control the board with spells and burn the enemy down with the miracle effect of Instructor Fireheart & Dwarven Archaeologist.
THE MIRACLE FINISHER:
Instructor Fireheart & Dwarven Archaeologist's combo alongside Shaman's cheap pool of spells to highroll you decent damage or value potential
TURN 1 SQUALLHUNTER:
Early Squallhunter on turn 1 or 2 with Lightning Bloom (s)
TURN 1 ARCANE WATCHER:
Early 5/6 minions on turn 1, 2 or 3 with Arcane Watcher, activated by cards like Rune Dagger and Primordial Studies
SPELL DAMAGE SYNERGY:
Plenty of spell damage synergy
Scholomance Support
New support cards in Voracious Reader, Diligent Notetaker and Devolving Missiles
Cut for time
Individual cards that nearly made the cut. Faceless Manipulator would give you an OTK on your Dwarven Archaeologist but you'd have to hit part of the combo with your Far Sight or have both of your Lightning Bloom 's in hand.
Alternate Package: Control
Shaman is severely lacking a control win condition, but has a plethora of control tools that could support a more controlling/stalling gameplan
Alternate Package: Dragons
Alternatively add more of the dragon package for added value and spell damage.
Alternate Package: Big Spell
For a more controlling late game deck introduce more board clears alongside the new Headmaster Kel'Thuzad
Alternate Package: Prime Ressurect
Ressurect your Lady Vashj with the new legendary Vectus alongside one or two 1/1 Impacaster 's from Rustsworn Initiate to combo your burn spells.
Alternate Package: Spell Damage
More spell damage for more face damage
Alternate Package: Quest Battlecry
And potential for more spell value from the quest
Hilarious how these people call the deck dog shit purely because they're clueless enough to have gone in thinking it would do well and then got disappointed and butthurt. It's just another experimental deck people. You're just making yourself look foolish.
Deck is pure dog shit.
did that with secret rogue last expansion, never really work (maybe now with secret passage) but fun
Why wouldn't u run ethereal augmerchant? It has so much synergy with arcane watcher and it''s basically a 1-mana spell damage + 1. Also relying too much on fireheart in this meta is dangerous with the high numbers of aggro decks.
Similar to Thijs deck. Anyway just destroyed it with my HL shaman
This deck is dog shite. If you get unlucky without the draw minion or it dies too fast can easily end up with a hand full of garbage. Sorry, but there are way better spell shaman lists.
Man this deck is an absolute blast to play! Very Powerful with a lot of counterplay and crazy swing turns. I made a video showcasing the deck in all of its glory, I really hope you guys all enjoy!
great job, i will playing this day 1, gonna try both a control version and go for full otk with augmechants and a spell dmg more face version with that otk sidewincon
Wow,now this is a guide! Nice job!
I like the general idea here. From the current card list, I have my doubts about Lava Burst and Primordial Studies. Considering you won't usually have Dwarven Archaeologist in play, I feel like it would be better to replace Primordial Studies with just actual spell damage minions, maybe Bloodmage Thalnos and even Mana Reservoir.
Also I'm not sure your low curve is low enough for Voracious Reader to really pop off.
What is the OTK with Faceless Manipulator? Sorry I'm not seeing it
Dragon Burn Shaman with Frizz and 2 lightning bloom, Malygod and Lorekeeper Polkelt.
Gonna lightning smash some peeps
This deck is pointless but cool graphics bro
This deck was made before the reveals to showcase the combo and start a discussion on the possible list & packages - it was far from refined, and certainly not tested against the launch meta - but has since been updated based on the final card reveals. By all means take a second look:

Your version of this deck just isn't good and you can see that just by looking at it don't see why it has so many votes. That is the power of art I suppose make something look fancy and people will automatically assume it's good.
You just mention "This deck isn't good" but you dont argue why this isn't good. Maybe the upvotes are just for the graphics, or for good work done. The upvotes doesn't need to be for great meta decks or win decks. This is a great idea and a great work, so... maybe try to argue what is bad or what u would change b4 cryin
Rubio... Agreed. I completely rework decks the moment it hits the meta anyways, so, proof of concept is really all that matters here.
Effort and discussion are what matter. It takes time to carefully construct a deck, and if you do it without knowing what the meta is, you're pretty much shit out of luck anyways. You're not John von Neumann, so you're going to remove and rework some cards regardless.

It looks like a cool deck, but what about a cobination of control and big spells, with speaker Gidra and the big spells
Definitely, I've mentioned that control package in the guide, but it's hard to tell right now what direction for the list will be best; it could easily be burn/control/dragon/combo/quest depending on the last cards announced and Scholomance meta.
