Mulligan Guide
- Always: Aim for Aldor Attendant, Hand of A'dal, First Day of School, Murgur Murgurgle and Libram of Wisdom (if you have Aldor Attendant). Mulligan hardly for First Day of School since it can give you a huge advantage in the first turn of the match.
- Against Aggro: Aim for the same cards, plus Consecration and Argent Braggart if you have some of the cards I mentioned above. Additionally, you can keep Devout Pupil if you already have Aldor Attendant WITH Libram of Wisdom.
- Against Control: Aim for Aldor Attendant, Aldor Truthseeker and keep Libram of Wisdom. If you have all these three cards, you can keep Libram of Hope or High Abbess Alura as well.
Strategy Tips
- You should adjust your playing style in every different match with this deck by playing aggresively or defensively, depending from your cards and your opponent's deck. So, DO NOT be afraid to play aggresively if you think the circumstances are propitious to play like that. This is the most important advice because you can lose many matches if you have the cards to play aggresively and instead of this, you give your opponent the time to find solutions.
- When you have Lady Liadrin, try to take the biggest advantage you can by using as many Librams as you can before you use her (do not be afraid of burning cards if you can control the board with Lady Liadrin and all the buff cards).
- Keep in mind the combo with Libram of Justice and Consecration to clear your opponent's board.
- Try to take advantage by the usage of Libram of Wisdom with Devout Pupil, which they really work perfect together.
- Try to take advantage from the Goody Two-Shields effect with Libram of Wisdom at 0 mana-cost.
Update (Darkmoon Faire): After the last expansion of Hearthstone (Darkmoon Faire), I suggest the following replacements to give even more advantage to your strategy.
- - 2 Amber Watcher
- -1 Argent Braggart
- -1 Aldor Peacekeeper
- -1 Murgur Murgurgle
- +1 High Exarch Yrel
- +1 Lightforged Crusader
- +2 Goody Two-Shields
- +1 Lord Barov
Enjoy! :)
Hey mate, thanks for your good words! I appreciate them and I'm really glad to hear this deck helped you reach Legend rank! :)
You are right! Against most of the meta-decks, this deck is good! But it really struggles against Priests (this is the hardest match-up).
As an advice, I could tell you that against Spell Druid, try to have till turn 5-6 the combo with the Libram of Justice + Consecration. You can take the win using this combo!
I am very excited too with the upcoming expansion! :)
I had to create an account and post. Been playing since Beta and this deck finally got me to Legend! Thank you so much. It feels good to finally have made it to Legend!
Uh! Thanks for your good words and your feedback bro! Glad for helping you reach Legend rank! :) I hope you enjoyed mate! :)
I had to create an account to tell you this deck is amazing. I’ve never gotten bast silver 10. Currently gold 10. Great for casual players too.
Thank you very much for your good words mate! Glad you enjoyed it! I wish it will help you to climb more in the ladder! Peace! :)
First time legend with your deck ! Thx for the list ! 19-5 79% winrate
I was struggling with a nonmurloc version of libram. Double rod and Sungill are doing the trick for me !
Glad to helped you to reach legend my friend! Actually, I have realised that the murloc combos in the deck, can be stand-aloned in a battle even it is hard. Thanks for your feedback and I hope you enjoyed bro! :)
Hey there. Thanks for sharing this deck. Really clear easy way to legend!
Thank you very much mate! Glad to hear those good words! Except for reaching legend, I really hope you enjoyed it! :)
Looks like a fun deck, but it loses to literally everything on ladder, currently 0-6 at Diamond 3. Not sure what the 29 people you managed to beat with this deck were smoking or what kind of deck they were playing.
If you wanna just have fun and lose most games or you are playing at Bronze it is enjoyable. If you wanna climb play a real deck.
Hunter just out tempos and kills you
Warrior shuffles bombs into your deck and makes 3 of your cards unplayable
Mage out values you and just removes your stuff
Priest steals everything you play and uses it against you
FIrst of all thanks for the feedback! :) I believe that the biggest pain in the a@$ are the Priests! You should not have problem againsts all the others (Mages and maybe Warlocks are not the easiest match-up but you can beat them with the right hand and use of this hand). Anyways thanks for the feedback.
Very nice deck I really enjoyed it, al lower ranks it performs really good, but I stuck at P5.
It handles Shamans, Aggro Hunters, Murloc Pally and Rouge very well but it struggles with Quest Warlocks and Priests. Mages are in between.
Even if you play around it is still difficult, I almost always have Warlocks ~10hp or below and the they start to recover. I can handle threats but always lose to Maly combo after Alex beeing dropped. Priest are the worst, they always steal your Murgur Murgurgle and are lucky with other steals by Thoughtsteal, not mention to a lot of removal, aoe and heal as well.
The problem of this deck is handling of big threats, u need two cards to clear board and have only two more cards to neutalize enemies big boys. There is a lot of heal, but looks like Priest and Warlocks have always perfect answers to our threats.
Thanks for the feedback! Priests and Warlocks (not sure for Warlocks) are the most difficult match-ups indeed. Especially Priests but I do not meet many at ladder right now. I think Priests and Mages are the most difficult generally. You can beat the Warlocks, just keep your heals for using them after your opponent uses Alexstrasza. :)
Complex deck with lots of options. Thanks for putting it together and sharing. We appreciate it.
Thanks for the feedback bro! I appreciate it too! :)
Funny, while I didn't play this deck I did play a pure libram deck from d4-4k legend and have about a 65-70% wr myself. So maybe it's a pilot issue.
I'm running double hammer and 2* true Silver instead of Angler. This helps both card draw and aggression/removal.
Also, 1* lifesteal is phenomenal in this deck since you usually end up with large minions, I'm at 23w1l against hunters.
Thanks for your advice bro! I will try it like you said! It is fact that you can easily win Hunters with this deck. The biggest problem are the Priests! Hope you enjoyed mate! Peace! :)
I love playing this deck but I'm 3-15 with a slightly different version of it. I'll try this one as well.
Thanks for the comment! I suggest you to try your techs on the deck. i.e. Tirion and Shotbots :)
Currently 11-0 on low ranks. Possibly it's my personal record for 3 years playing HS. :)
