Just look my latest highlander mage which I ran at ~2k legend and updated it with what I think is an improved SA build. I feel like the deck offers more consistent value and early board control now to not have to rely on heavy RNG wildcards like Tortollan Pilgrim and Puzzle Box. Sphere of Sapience will definitely help find the correct answers to stabilize against aggro sooner. Wand thief is a fine card but Onyx Magescribe just does the job better while also being a dragon and Lab Partner serves as a better body and utility at all stages of the game.

I suspect highlander mage will still be very successful deck on ladder.
