Greetings friends! So after playing many different Malylock decks since the new year, I decided to post what I've had the most success and most fun with. This deck is very complex and even if you are familiar with this popular archetype, can be very challenging due to the very tricky interactions of The Dark Portal, Twisted Knowledge, Jepetto Joybuzz with Plot Twist.

We are only running 7 minions here. This is to increase our chances of getting the key minions to our OTK combo with either Jepetto Joybuzz or The Dark Portal at a bargain discounted rate.

Malygos Most crucial card in the deck. Ideally we'll play this at either 4 or 1 mana. Leaving enough mana to to play our finishers Rain of Fire, Soulfire, Nether Breath, and Hellfire.

 

Alexstrasza Can either setup the OTK the same turn if discounted to 4 or 1, be played the turn before or just save your bacon in emergencies.

 

Aranasi Broodmother x2 Necessary for survival. You know the drill. Plot Twist and Sense Demons let you rinse and repeat.

 

Mo'arg Artificer Combination of survival with Nether Breath, or just great for any of the many damage dealing spells on minions. 6 cost Mega Hellfire can be necessary sometimes, even though he takes it in the face as well. Can also be pulled with Sense Demons in a pinch.

 

Jepetto Joybuzz For amazing discounts for our Dragons. You'll need to pay very close attention to which minions are still in your deck, to maximize your chances of getting a 1 mana Maly. Don't be afraid to Plot Twist him back into the deck if there are more than 2 minions still in your deck. Still not a bad play if you have 3 minions and 2 are Strasza and Maly. The god play would be getting these both for 1 Mana.

 

Zzeraku the Warped Additional dragon for Nether Breath synergy and the absolute best possible turn 4 pull from The Dark Portal against any aggro deck. Dropping him turn 5 against a DH or Face Hunter is pretty hilarious.

 

Our spells are mainly to wipe the board, complete the quest or deal damage for our OTK with only a couple exceptions.

 

Sinister Deal RNG goodness, mainly for Dragon or Spell discovery. This also replaces itself in your hand helping us meet the card minimums requirement from the portal.

 

Twisted Knowledge More RNG stuff. This can get very tricky when picking minions as you may have to Plot Twist them back into your deck which will decrease your odds for a Maly with Portal or Jepetto although Sense Demons can pull a demon you end up shuffling back in. 

 

Remember Twisted Knowledge and Sense Demons give us 2 cards. These can both be used early to help fill your hand and maximize Plot Twist and The Dark Portal without taking damage from our hero power.

 

Mulligans

The Dark Portal and Plot Twist are the core of this deck and we will want these both in hand by turn 5 regardless of matchup.

Against aggro Dark Skies or Hellfire if no Dark Skies

Other than control oriented warrior decks that bank armor, this wins easy against control and just try to get your combo off as efficiently as possible.
