Intro:
Hey everyone! My name is Funki Monki and all I do is create meta breaking (hopefully) off meta decks! Today I bring to you a very unique Rogue deck that got me to legend. In fact, so unique that it DOESN'T use Galakrond ON PURPOSE! Crazy, right? This super aggressive deck was made after the most recent set of balance changes and underwent quite a few variations of Stealth Aggro. Ultimately I landed on this version which carried from Diamond 3 - Legend this season.
Here is my climb from Diamond 3 to Legend:
Strategy:
This is a very aggressive deck and are looking to close out games ASAP. On average you should win between turns 6-8. The first 1-5 turns is about board control. Sometimes it is best not to attack with your stealth minions right away and instead wait to use them to trade up into your opponents 2 or 3 cost minions.
Always prioritize minion damage/development over spells/weapons. Your stealth minions generally are weak and have low health so the sooner you can get them on the board and doing chip damage/trading the better.
Skydiving Instructor is actually pretty cool in this deck. Not only does it pull out your stealth minions to synergize with your other cards but it thins your deck. Thinning your deck is important because instead of top-decking that Worgen Infiltrator when you're looking for lethal you topdeck Eviscerate, thus making the deck more consistent in its job.
Mulligan:
Always Keep: Blazing Battlemage, Spymistress, Worgen Infiltrator, Skyvateer, Akama, Greyheart Sage
Sometimes Keep: Backstab (Vs. DH/Hunter/Rogue), Ashtongue Slayer (going first and have a turn 1 stealth), Edwin VanCleef (going second), Skydiving Instructor (going second and you have a turn 1 minion)
I hope you like this deck and, as always, if you have any questions or have a suggestion please comment below (I respond to all comments)!

Thanks for the list, looks good. How important are Akama and Maiev? Can I sub them with a Jungle Panther for stealth synergy and another Sap on my f2p account? :)
I would say for me Akama never got his full use for me once. It was good having a 4hp stealth minion that could withstand mage aoe secret, even then that was very situational. I haven’t once had the time or need to drop the prime. So another stealth minion wouldn’t hurt. Maiev has won me multiple games though to get through that last taunt or for tempo versus a big minion.
Exactly what itsmausu said in the comment above, Akama is more so used as a thick 3/4 body that has stealth rather than his Prime version. This makes him immune to most board clears to allow you to setup for big plays the following turn. You could replace him for Hench-Clan Sneak which will be close enough. And Maiev Shadowsong you could replace for another Sap.
I don't normally comment or upvote on hearthpwn but I had to make my account after playing this. I just hit legend with this deck for the first time ever starting from D5. I hate playing meta decks. I played a lot of priest until that became too common. So i started looking for another deck. I have never hit legend cause I refused to play meta.. But I have to say you are onto something with this deck. I went 20-5 to finally secure Legend for the first time. I usually hate playing aggro decks cause they usually play mindless but there is some thought to this deck. This deck has the ability to trade or go wide or race the slower decks. Attached is my deck tracker stats!
Thank you so much for this deck! This is definitely going to become meta, so I'll enjoy it while it lasts.
Dang, dude! That's huge, congrats!!! :D I remember hitting legend for the first time and that feeling of excitement and relief. You even had a better WR than me with the deck! I might have to take notes lol.
Congratulations on legend again! I'm glad you've enjoyed this deck so far :)
seems dh is its negative matchup.
how does it behave vs AoErs (warrio, priest, shaman, paladin)
