Since every turn you're trying to spend your mana on draw or minion, if you're wasting mana on hero power (even with Sharpshooter) you're falling behind. Clear the way isn't actually hard to utilize between weapon, gryphons, Kragg and Zixor (and if you trigger it on Swarm you only wasted 1 mana you had to burn anyway).

I tried to play this deck with 2xBone Wraith instead 2xDwarven Sharpshooter, and it looks good (after nerf Twin Slice)

Sample size of 1 - combo'd easily to rhino + Zixor prime, destroyed a gala rogue who thought he was about to win easily. I tried another version someone had up with more face cards (leper gnome + side quest, teron) and it was just way too slow. This has better tempo.

The real test will be vs Spell Druid, current meta in diamond (where I'm at) is at least 30% Spell druid so any competitive deck has to be able to beat it 40-45% to be over 50% overall and climb. I feel like this will be competitive enough vs tempo DH (which is also a huge % of meta), but i'm eyeballing this as hard to beat vs spell druid. Maybe Khartut is enough to delay until you can complete quest?

Even if it's just a meme deck in the end, it's a rare standard deck that's actually fun to play (I love my no minion mage which is basically meme in the current meta).

Edit: after 9 games I'm 5-4, and one of those was a rogue who top-decked Dinotamer Brann on a Dragon's Hoard the turn before I had a combo win, which is just sh*t luck on my part. I have still not faced tempo DH or spell druid so the jury is still out but I'm leaning towards 'not meme' at this point.

Tundra Rhino + Scarlet Webweaver + Desert Spear

So you're counting on keeping the Rhino until next turn? You can also play Scarlet first and then Rhino to give the Webweaver charge.

Yeah, you are hold Rhino for zero against mid / control decks until find one of combos. If opponent do only face I instant drop Rhino to give charge for Webweaver.

If opponent do only face they should be disqualified from the human race and put in a cell to rot.

This is a combo deck with little draw, little taunt, and little removal. It's hard to draw the combo in time. Fun when it works, of course.

Sure, I did have bad matchups versus priest/mage and couldn't got Thundra Rhino after draw 80% deck. Unluck.

Advice: Try cycle Diving Gryphon in first to narrow down beasts in deck. Scavenger's Ingenuity would be draw Scarlet Webweaver, Tundra Rhino and Zixor Prime.

I wonder if Teron Gorefiend would be good? Also, why Siamat? He doesn’t seem to fit well.

Teron Gorefiend would be good in theory, but I can't imagine really good turn versus agro-mid opponent. It's slow.

Siamat not required for comfortable play, but I realize that the card gives many options to affect the board.

This is actually really cool. Good job dude, I've been trying to make quest hunter work....I wouldn't have thought to do the combo this way. The only issue I have is Dwarven Sharpshooter. I understand wanting extra early game removal, but replacing it with Clear the Way makes so much more sense to me. It opens up more options with the quest minions in the late game and possibly and extra charge minion once you combo with Rhino/Zixor Prime (extra 6 dmg after hero power). In the early game it can make up for the lack of early removal.

Yeah, I played with Clear the Way before rotation and like it. Main problem that Swarm of Locust ruin it, and only 3 rush minions except weapon/Zixor Prime to activate it. More rush minions can break deck-cycle very well. Btw, 1 Sharpshooter and 1 Clear the Way may be good.

What's the point of the webweaver + tunda rhino combo here? Just to hit zixxor prime? There's a few other shiesty combo potentials here and there but all it seems like a huge investment for little return.

The Zixor prime's have Charge

Often I have Tundra Rhino for 0 cost after reduce by Scarlet Webweaver. After complete quest I can do Tundra Rhino + Swarf of Locusts  + Ability for 8 cost, or Zixor Prime for 10 cost. And don't forget about Unleash the Hounds.

Before quest you can drop on board Scarlet Webweaver + Tundra Rhino for 6 cost if you sure that game will end soon. Worst matchups is hunters (except highlander).

Core cards in late game (8+ turn): Scarlet Webweaver, Tundra Rhino, Swarf of Locusts, Scavenger's Ingenuity, Zixor Prime
