CLEARLY NEED TO STATE THIS ISN'T MEANT FOR CLIMBING. IF YOU AREN'T A LEGEND AND YOU ARE TRYING TO NET-DECK, YOU'RE IN THE WRONG PLACE.
UPDATE 5/20: Removed 1 Rhino. He was stealing way too many damn buffs. Feels like it has been more consistent without two of them. Instead, we added Unleash the Hounds to help us deal with aggro and wide boards. THIS IS MORE OF A MEME THAN A SERIOUS DECK. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CLIMBING WITH THIS LIST AND I ACHIEVED LEGEND WITH AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT DECK.
POIMLOK’S WINDFURY HUNTER
This deck is similar to the old OTK Boar Hunter, but utilizes the Tundra Rhino + Young Dragonhawk as an extremely high damage burst. It can be 30+ at times and just the right amount of damage in the others. We managed a 60%+ WR with this deck over 30 games at the rank of LEGEND. ENJOY!
Generally speaking, you want to aim to get Scavengers Ingenuity on the Dragonhawk, along with Scrap Shot and Wildtamer If possible to create a massive Tundra/Dragonhawk burst!
Make sure to check out my video below! You won't get the true vibe of this deck without it.
Mulligans:
You always keep Dwarven Sharpshooter, Imprisoned Felmaw, and Scavenger’s Ingenuity
Sometimes you keep Faerie Dragon, Explosive Trap (Aggro), Stormhammer (Going 2nd), Corrosive Breath (if you have a dragon), Primordial Explorer (if you have a good early curve)
Tips:
- This deck is not easy to play. It takes a lot of practice and the ability to plan several turns in advance in order to be successful. This deck has the answers for just about everything, although sticky taunts can sometimes be a problem and a loss!
- Some matchups you need to play like a face hunter. Particularly against Priest, you need to play as aggressively as possible. (Though, notice in the video I kill a priest in one turn while he has 30 health... xD)
- Always try your best to put all the buffs on a single Young Dragonhawk
- You don’t always need the combo to win. Sometimes you just have the perfect draw and if you trade correctly and go face efficiently, you can just kill them regularly. I find a lot of the time I actually just win with a fat, buffed Rhino that has 8+ attack and charge.
- Always remember that the enemy health pool doesn’t matter until the end. You will have enough damage to remove any amount of health if you wait for the right combo. This deck has multiple ways of outputting high damage.
- If you hyper buff out a rhino, don’t be afraid to copy that instead of the Dragonhawk. Having multiple fat rhinos still wins you the game.

What about using Beastial Wrath? I just lost to a rez priest and think this would of helped it can be +4 damage and works vs taunt.
Someone mentioned that earlier! The more I think about it, the more I think it's actually a great idea. I'm going to play-test it a bit and see how it goes and will definitely update accordingly!
nice budget deck & dragonhawk +1 :P~~~
Thanks so much! Go get 'em dragonhawk!
Any Poimlok deck is worth a try and since I'm stuck at rank 5 anyway, why not give it a go :)
Thanks so much dude! I’m really having fun with this one!
Any thoughts on Bestial Wrath in here? I've noticed Warrior and big taunts in general tend to be problematic. The problem would be finding what to drop. Maybe a Trap or Sharpshooter?
You're certainly not wrong. It would be a difficult cut, but maybe I'd say cut a trap or deadly shot?
I'll be honest. I saw your guys posts and put 2 in my deck to try um out. I really didn't find many scenarios where they were worth taking up 2 spots in your deck. Just my opinion.
I'm one of those odd Hunter players that doesn't put 2 Trackings and Sharpshooters in every non HL deck. I've been burned more times than I can count by tracking forcing me to discard 2 amazingly useful cards and Sharpshooter is really only a great turn one play. I've rarely found great mid to late game uses as you are typically going face.
any replacemnets for rotnest?
Hey! I don't think any other card would have quite the same effect- being a dragon and a removal is a double positive for this list. If I didn't have it, I would maybe try a Big Ol Whelp in it's place for the dragon synergy and draw power!
I'd sub a second Rhino. Better odds to get your endgame combo.
With my RNG I thought this deck wouldn't work because the buffs only would hit Rhino. And they did.. But, it didn't matter. The rest of the deck is pretty aggro by itself, so a 7-10 or 10-13 Rhino wins me the game on turn 7 or 8 even though I don't draw Dragonhawk. A great deck! Thank you!
This is so true haha. That damn rhino and his buffstealing.... gr....
So nice deck. But is it working still after Scavenger's Ingenuity nerf? And can you tell mulligan of deck please?
Thank you!! I think it is still worth running as you need the draw power to have any sort of success. I will write up a better guide for the list shortly for you!
I keep drawing rhino with scavengers ingenuity, buffing it with scrap shot and copying with wild tamer. This is so bad
Rofl isnt that so annoying?!?! That's why I call him the buffstealer! xD sometimes it doesnt matter though... removed 1 rhino since your comment and feel it has been better
Turn 7 win against mage
