The Last Kaleidosaur is in the deck to activate quest synergies to gain coins from Licensed Adventurer, to draw cards from Questing Explorer and to have a removal + taunt with Sky Gen'ral Kragg. The only thing you can complete the quest with is Libram of Wisdom, but you dont want to do this until you have at least one Coin.

You need to reduce librams cost by 2 mana. After you turned into Uther of the Ebon Blade at turn 10 play Auctionmaster Beardo and heropower after every 0 mana spell (Libram of Wisdom and Coin). Additional Coin provides this 11 mana combo. There are multiple ways for this combo to work. Against control matchups when you go 2nd you can keep the starting Coin and do the combo without librams. You can keep one Coin and two Libram of Wisdom. If you try it you will figure it out.

Crystology and Acolyte of Pain also helps you to cycle the deck.

Lynessa Sunsorrow helps you to gain additional librams if your main librams got removed with silence or minion transformation. You need to pay attention to your librams. Usually you need 2 Libram of Wisdom to win. So if you are sure that your buffed minion can be silenced or transformed – keep them in your hand.

The deck used to include Aldor Attendant but in the current meta the deck needs heal.  Best option is Libram of Hope. But it is not viable without cost reduction and 2 mana reduction is not enough. So i decided to switch back to Aldor Truthseeker,  which provides additional taunt. In previous expansion Aldor Attendant was much better than now.

Currently added Pen Flinger which allows to clear pirate and druid tokens much more easily. Honestly, the deck used to be much better in previous expansion.

Also i have to mention that after i updated the description several times it became too big and cluncky so i decided to cut out outdated information.

Removals:

any spell + Wild Pyromancer 

Wild Pyromancer + Libram of Justice 

Libram of Justice + Consecration 

Pen Flinger + Libram of Wisdom

Mulligan:

I always try to keep Wild Pyromancer, Pen Flinger, Licensed Adventurer and Crystology. Against agro search for Sky Gen'ral Kragg . Wild Pyromancer is a saviour in the current meta. Also Consecration  works great against tokens, especially good agains DH and paladin. Against control you can even keep Uther of the Ebon Blade  in your starting hand.

The deck is good against:

All kinds of priest and warrior. Reno mage and quest mage. Slow warlocks. Jade druid. Renohunters. Mill rogue (like every combo deck).

The deck is decent against:

Shamans (but be careful - keep your librams in hand or buff a minion and kill it because shamans always run Devolve which destroy your librams, sometimes they run Hex).

The deck is weak against:

Secret mage. Suffers mostly against odd rogue.

 

Replacements:

Instead of Lynessa Sunsorrow  you can put Lady Liadrin in (or vice versa).

Were tested out: Tour Guide, Brann Bronzebeard, Bloodmage Thalnos, Stonehill Defender, Shrink Ray, Equality, Acidic Swamp Ooze, Gluttonous Ooze, Harrison Jones, Eater of Secrets, Chief Inspector, Ironbeak Owl, Paragon of Light, Wickerflame Burnbristle, Novice Engineer,  Zephrys the Great and Tar Creeper.

Cards I want to test: Wave of Apathy, Devout Pupil.

I don't have Lord Barov and i haven't seen anyone using it in wild meta. I don't see why is it better than any of removals that are included. May be in the future they will add a spell which kills Lord Barov and gives you benefits then it will see play. But not now.

Have to say that I tried to build the deck around Lorekeeper Polkelt and it failed miserably. I lost like 1500 ranked points and ended up at 3000.

The Last Kaleidosaur  can be swapped with Making Mummies, but you will not be able to complete it and the deck will become weaker.

The quest, Uther of the Ebon Blade, Licensed Adventurer, Auctionmaster Beardo cannot be replaced and are core of the deck.
