hey everyone
this is my personal version of the handlock archetype
this is a very versatile deck, the game plan is do some mana-cheat with dark portal, in a lot of game you will do alextraza turn five, and if the oppo can't answer that is probably an ez win, zzeraku is so strong too , but the true power of the deck is the possibility to adapt to the matchup with twisting knowledge
as a good warlock player I know that handlock suffer against demon hunter, but don't be afraid! twisted knowledge is an awesome tool
at turn 2 you will generate 2 card to adapt to the matchup (while don't get 2 damage for the tap), for example against DH you will very often find dark skies or an extra copy of neather breath,
or in late against control deck tou can find an extra copy of abyssal summoner, crazed netherwing, zeraku, or maybe another dark portal, sometimes when the situation is critical you can pick rafaam and try to twist the game,
in some case you can also pick kanrethad because the prime version can resummon the abyssal summoner demons , or jaraxxus' 6/6 giving you an awesome board that can protect you and win the game the nezt turn, maybe with alextraza's help
Against priest you can win with jaraxxus maybe at turn five or four with the dark portal
you can also run magtheridon instead of twisting neather, it depends on the matchup you find most,
if you find a lot of priest, put magtheridon
if you don't have siamat or maybe some card a pretty strong combo is to put 2X plot twist and keli'dan, that's useful with arnanasi, to get a lot of heal, with kelidan to have a board clear or whenever to only change your hand for example trying to find jaraxxus against priest or maybe alextraza or some finisher
Against Demon hunter:
you have a lot of cheap removal like unstable felbolt, you can cicle with mortal coli and obliviusly you have dark skies and hellfire to broke the oppo board in early game, from twisting knowledge you can find a lot of extra card to counter the demon hunter, extra heal, mass removal or if you have the control of the game you can pick an extra big card to close the game like zzeraku or an extra copy of abyssal summoner
your game plan agaist DH is to control him by clearing his early game board, trying to give as much value as possible to hellfire, dark skies and crazed netherwing, but be careful to don't lose too much health, aranasi will help you with some free heal to keep your health hight while you are controlling the board and the oppo is slowly finishing his resurces
have fun with my deck if you chose to try it
thanks everyone
Oh my god such a fun deck. 4 wins 0 losses. thx bro
hey thanks, in theese days I tried to put keli'dan instead of Twisting nether and I think it's better because in a lot of games T.N. is completely useless and keli'dan if drawn in the good spot can be a very powerful mass removal at 6 mana, but if it doesn't happen it still be a useful single target removal
if you have it i suggest you to try it
What about having the 4 mana 5/4 which makes your dragons cheaper?
I tested it, there aren't enought dragon for that, if you want to use frizz i suggest you to change some card, you can put Malygos instead of siamat and maybe jeppetto instead of twisting nether to build a sort of OTK dragon lock, your game plan will be discount the dragons with jeppetto, frizz and the dark portal, and try to win with soul fire, nether breath and the other burst
But this build suffer too much against aggro, and now the meta is too aggressive
hey man great deck, it may not be tier 1 or anything but it sure is fun as hell, i only changed 2 cards
-1 Zzeraku the Warped+1 Magtheridon
-1 Twilight Drake +1 Malygos
Zzeraku because i don't have it and put malygos because i noticed i'm winning many of my games with direct damage to face like Soulfire or Nether Breath
had a bit of a rough start but now that i've learned to use the deck is great so far and even thou i've lost
many games, there wasn't a single game i felt like i had 0 chance to win. The games are from diamond 10 to diamond 5 and currently trying to reach legend
thanks for testing my deck, I suggest you to keep 2 copies of twilight drake, because it's very strong in early and it's a dragon , many times against DH if you do Drake in early he will use a lot of important resurces to remove him putting you in advantage
if you want to put malygos my advice is to revome something like one mortal coil :)
Good luck for your road to legend
