Primary/Main druid player Lucero here with another Druid creation for this week's tavern brawl. Since the full DoD set is available, Embiggen Druid seemed like the right archetype to tweak for the brawl this week. Embiggen means finding minions that are cheap and playable early so we can survive until we can play big stuff and finding ways to discount and draw big stuff for our push later on. The standard Embiggen stuff is in there, and maybe I'll cover that later, but first let's talk about what is different and from the adventures:

Cheap stuff that is even better when buffed:

Enchanted Raven - The original 1-mana 2/2. Also a beast, which is relevant for reasons stated below.

Sir Finley Mrrgglton - Druid hero power could be better.

Tasty Flyfish - We have a lot of dragons to buff.

Why Murlocs? Because we have access to a great draw mechanic, The Curator. Since Embiggen Druid already makes use of numerous dragons and a few beasts, let's add a few more to the pool so we can draw more later. And murlocs are cheap with powerful effects. These two happen to buff our hand and our hero power, along with carrying reasonable (tasty) and straight up great (Sir Mrrgglton) statlines that are even better if we hit them with Embiggen.

More beasts and dragons:

Hippogryph - Just a reasonable cost rush/taunt beast that gets better when buffed and can be drawn with Curator.

Book Wyrm - I initially had Murloc Tinyfin in here because it buffs to a 1-mana 3/3, but decided it wasn't valuable enough. Since druid has little removal, and even less under these rules, I decided Book Wyrm was a good choice as a small removal tool. It can take care of a lot of soft taunts like Brann, etc.

More ways to discount our deck and add value:

Emperor Thaurissan - Just a great card to discount our deck, especially after we've increased its cost. Amazing when pulled by SiN.

Brann Bronzebeard - 11 of our cards are battlecry minions. Brann will often just get removed (not a bad thing to draw removal), but if he doesn't, things get really fun. If he gets buffed by embiggen, he'll become a real force.

Standard Embiggen tools include:

Embiggen

Strength in Numbers

Breath of Dreams

...and a bunch of obvious minions I won't go into.

Some strat tips:

Mulligan for a few early tools and hope you get an embiggen.

Never keep two embiggens and never play a second embiggen if you don't have enough playable cards in hand.

Don't be afraid to play Breath of Dreams if you aren't holding a dragon.  There's a good chance you will draw one, which still activates the requirement to add a mana crystal.

Alternative choices to consider:

Escaped Manasaber - extra mana crystals to play more stuff is not a bad thing. Also a beast.

Hot Air Balloon - Cheap and gets bigger. Hard to kill. Mechs in general are worth considering. The 6-mana Gyrocopter with windfury is a good choice, as is Zoobot. Not a lot of mech support though so I chose to omit.

Murloc Tastyfin - Draw more murlocs with your murlocs.

Evasive Feywing - and other dragons (drakonid, etc.) are options.

Menagerie Warden - copying our beasts is pretty powerful, especially when buffed, and especially if a winged guardian survives a turn with reborn in place.
