This deck is about speed and has won me several games on turn 4 and many on turn 5-6.
The general idea is to do as much early damage with minions as possible, then finish up with Avalanche and spell damage. Always focus on the Face unless you have to address a minion.
Priorities:
Get Avalanche out as early as possible (turn 2 possible, though I have only had turn 3s)
Use Elemental Allies to pull damage spells early enough to finish the game. Be careful not to add non-damage spells to the deck or the pool will dilute and you won't get enough damage early enough to be consistent.
Get Fire Hawk out early. This card is very strong but very vulnerable. I will drop him turn 1 every chance I get unless there is a play to use Elemental Evocation to get Avalanche out on turn 4 or 5.
Focus on the face.
Don't wait on Leeroy, just consider him a Fireball. If you can also deal with the 1/1s he drops he can last more than that turn occasionally.
Could very well be, just adding another cheap option to try out. But the deck is currently 38-22 in Wild on it's way up through Gold and this is my first time playing wild (started last August).
What I like most about it is the 'WTF was that??' effect it has on opponents. I like having something no one else is playing that actually works. That and the fact that it is a quick deck.
Certainly not a top tier deck though, just a lot of quick fun.
Secret mage has more facerace potential, than this ELEMENTAL mage. KEKW
