On this day, I unleash a new type of cancer upon the Hearthstone community. Enjoy.
Mulliganing:
Mulligan for Undertaker and 1 drop deathrattle minions then use Jeeves as your draw engine to win. Mechwarper basically pays for itself in terms of mana after you play two mechs and even if you only get 1 down, it's still a 1 mana 2/3 that gets "cheaper" the more mechs you play. The card is absolutely insane.
Your ideal hand would be something like T1 Undertaker + Leper Gnome, T2 Mechwarper + Clockwork Gnome, T3 Piloted Shredder.
Replaced 1 Freezing Trap with Explosive Trap to help against "floody" decks. I'm also currently testing running a Spider Tank over a second Jeeves. Often, a game plays too quickly to use Jeeves and it sits dead in my hand and T1 Mechwarper -> T2 Spider Tank is pretty strong. Changed the owl to a UTH.
Thinking about replacing 2nd Mechwarper with 2nd Hunter's Mark.
Stats of the most recent revision (inc. Spider Tank):
PSA: Just to clear things up, I am not "Sparkaz". I'm a different SpArk that plays on NA, not EU. I'm the SpArk that made top 4 in Sunshine Open a while back as shown here.
in decks with Naxxramas cards, 700g per quarter so it's 2800g for Undertaker. which would (on 4 common 1 rare results ) would be 1120 Dust but could easily be worth around 3000. which is quite, not so budget.
Just tried your deck at rank 8... dropped to rank 10 pretty fast, just got wrecked and never really had a chance in any of the games
Long time Hunter player since S3, this deck is certainly solid. I don't feel as it will last through the meta shift but it is strong for now. Rose from 16 to 5 today, which is pretty good since I hit rank 1 last season on the old aggro deck.
Nice deck, but I'm not a fan of the name. I don't think people really realize how brutal of a disease cancer is and I am really not a fan of people using it as a term to describe something they just dislike. I'd take facing a Hunter any day over Cancer :/
Offended by the word cancer being used? Somehow I don't think you have the right to be offended. I'm offended at the word water because of how many people died in various floods and drownings. Get over it man, just stop being offended and realise that cancer being used in the context is an accurate term as it is a growth occurring inside the entity that is slowly destroying it and is very hard to get rid of.
I suspect I'm like you in that I have no time for people who think that their choice to take offence at something is somehow automatically relevant. Sometimes it is relevant, but not always, and far less often than some people seem to think. I put it down to an overblown sense of self-importance, but I could be wrong.
Still, in this case I disagree with you. You seem to be assuming that "I'm not a fan of" means "I take offense at" - they're different things.
Having volunteered in an oncology palliative care ward* and watched a number of people die - slowly, painfully - from cancer, I'm not a fan of the name either.
* In that case, a place where terminally ill cancer patients waited to die, while the carers provided as much pain relief and dignity as possible.
Nope. This deck is trash.
After my previously used Hunter Deck lost me 10+ in a row, I looked for a new one. I found this deck, and within the hour climbed back up to Rank 10. #BonusStars
Thank you!
Absolutely terrible deck...
Cancer you say ? I won the first game on turn 3 after the priest /ragequitted at my 4/5 undertaker.... I almost feel bad playing this kind of crap. Not sure I'll stick with it, I prefer to shoot myself in the leg and play something original !
No offense tho, props for building something competitive! +1
Well due to ranked resetting every month, you really only need to hit legend once for the sweet card back (which arguably doesn't mean anything anyway to a lot of people since they assume you can just play hunter and face and get to legend in a day but whatever)
so if you don't like it that's totally fine, ladder's gonna reset anyway so there's no huge incentive to remain at the top, playing what's fun rather than what is easiest to win with is fine.
Great deck, having a lot of fun with it, and that's all I need to give you +1, cheers!
Edit: I just went on an insane win streak, 10/0, 3 casual and 7 ranked, later on I'll give an update on this if possible. Thanks again for this awesome deck!
Edit 2: On further tests, I got punched in the nuts by handlocks with this deck, so gotta avoid those guys, after my 10/0 win streak, I got a 4/5, losing for handlocks and pallys...
I haven't had much trouble against handlock myself. You should play around molten and try to burst them down with KC.
Yeah now I hold on dearly to my KCs until the big boys appear. Thanks for the advice. But the problem is most cases they unload 2 of them and also give them taunt, most times at this point there is little room to kill a handlock with any deck. Or I just suck against handlocks with all heros and decks hahaha
The Kill Commands aren't used to kill the giants. They're used to finish off the enemy regardless of taunts. If you keep a warlock around 16-17, they can't drop both a molten giant and a taunt on the same turn. This gives you the opportunity to burst them using KC, hero power, bow, and/or whatever minions you have on the board. Sometimes you have to choose to just not attack with a minion for a turn just to keep the warlock outside of molten range.
This is a great deck, i am 5-0 with it. A friend of mine went from 19-11 in an hour or two, only losing a handful in the process. Thanks for putting this out here.
I LITERALLY CREATED AN ACCOUNT TO COMMENT
THIS DECK IS LITERALLY SO REKT
LIKE OMG I GOT THEM SO POWNED
SO GOOD
I'm not sure if you completely grasp the actual meaning of the word "literally".
worst deck ever. 75% win rate yeah in rank 19 maybe. hey spark maybe you can try to TEST your deck in high ranks before making any stupid claims about its win rate.
Hey. I'm sorry the deck hasn't been working out for you, but I assure you I have not been testing the deck out at anywhere near 19. Feel free not to use the deck if you think it's bad.
