New card strategy in Ashes of Outland/Scholomance Academy:
Mindrender Illucia is a direct counter to Quest Mage, Combo Druid, other combo/OTK decks. Can be used in early turns to deny your opponent's next play (good against aggro decks). Greatest thing that happens to Priest this new expansion!
Sphere of Sapience helps a lot in controlling your drawing, in case you want to remove dead draw
Lorekeeper Polkelt may help to get your key cards early in some situations where you meet a lot of other control decks like mirror matches, Odd Warrior, Reno Mage, Cube/Reno Warlock ...
Raise Dead is a helpful card to regain resources for Shadowreaper Anduin or in some case that you lack drawing. Same reasons with Renew
Kobold Stickyfinger is a new useful tech card against Kingsbane (Rogue) and Sphere of Sapience (mirror matches). Oozes is not as good as this (though 5 mana for a weapon tech card is somehow high costed), since Rogues can redraw their Kingsbane easily
Jepetto Joybuzz seems to be a bit slow play, but drawing is good and 1-mana cost minions are good too (you have seen how good Luna's Pocket Galaxy performed)
Mo'arg Artificer is a new good way to survive if you don't have Reno Jackson in hand, especially when combining with Azure Drake/Bloodmage Thalnos and Spirit Lash

Posted Aug 14, 2020 (Scholomance Academy)I'm sorry for your losses, but this deck was created long time ago. It might be weak in the current meta because of the rise of other Reno Priest. So if you want to climb rank faster, I recommend the original one at: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1345515-legend-reno-priest (I have just updated recently). But I have to admit that this version is way too more fun than the original one.

Posted Apr 17, 2020 (Outland DH Nerfs)I love the idea but maybe including spawn of shadows would be good because one card alone gives you great win condition. Since I would have to craft quest and instead of playing regular raza priest I would start playing this I am interested how succesful is this deck ( I know regular is better but I would like to play this and climb in legend a little if possible).

Posted Apr 17, 2020 (Outland DH Nerfs)Hi, you definitely can add Spawn of Shadows for a win condition, I love your idea. This deck performed greatly against most aggro decks but I'm not pretty sure about Quest Mage (this is an auto-lose match-up for all Reno Priest even after the nerf). When it comes to match-up against Regular Reno Priest, this is just a drawing competition to see who draws their key cards first; at this point, I can say this deck has an 40-hp advantage from Amara, Warden of Hope (and Reno Jackson) which would take more efforts for your opponent to finish. Cubelock is not a hard match-up, either; just don't let them cube Doomguard so you don't die on turn 10 when Bloodreaver Gul'dan is played.

Posted Apr 14, 2020 (Outland DH Nerfs)Hi, this is my own deck, based on the common idea of putting Awaken the Markers and N'Zoth together. Originally, it contained Velen for for a winning condition but I prefer this version (because the non-quest version is better if you want a classic OTK combo). I'm glad you're interested in this deck!

I wanted to thank you for this deck because it helped me to get to Legend for the first time since I play Hearthstone :) I went 13-0 with it from rank 5 to Legend. So I wanted you to know that this deck works like a charm.
