It's really important to complete the quest at the beginning and you can afford to take some damage but if you see the enemy being too aggro postpone the completition of the Quest for the sake of your own life!

WIth all these spells and utility you can survive most of standard decks while biting little by little the health of your opponent. There are some combos that you can use in the right time to speed up the process, for example:

A filled board + Zephris the Great 

Archmage Vargoth + Swipe in the face for 8 Dmg (with no enemy minions on board, or if the 1st Swipe kill them all)
