Ok guys, LF7D here.
After playtesting a big amount of decks i finally found piece inside my soul. So i bring you a secret stealth rogue.
This deck is so great that you can easily win any match-up. The tempo swings here are so strong that even "pain in the ass ressurect priest" looses to this list.
As usual, as we get 20 upvotes here, i will write a deep guide and bring WR statistics against all classes.
P.S.: a maiev hero portrait coming from the shadows is strongly recommended to apply for this list.
Update 15.04. Thanks to GamerPanda who was first to propose adding 1x Shadowstep. Dropped 1x Secretkeeper. Second girl is on the watch, thinking what to tech in instead. WR is raising, thanks to shadowstep, now even more competitive against ressurect priest and highlander hunter. Stay tuned.
Update 13.04. Thanks to jtikey who was first to propose this change: switched 2x Worgen Infiltrator for 2x Burrowing Scorpid. Works great as it can easily get Stealth (mind using Backstab to deal with 4 hp minions) for the following value and additionaly it also able to do face damage, which is sometimes so needed to finish the game. Thought about throwing off 2x Secretkeeper but persanally for me it is still a powerful card to initiate those secret shenanigans. And being active on late turns followed by hanar it won me number of games. Still working on the deck improvement. Also added my current WR screenshot after 40+ games (priest and DH are in the bad spot against it right now).
Also i want to ask you guys to share your WR (if played at least 30 games), especially playing on different rank floors besides legend with this deck. Big Up!
Update 10.04. Thank you guys for the interest and your feedback. Let's jump to the guide, shall we?
Desciption
This is basically a tempo deck which contains two different archetypes:
1. Stealth.
This package provides you board pressence, card draw and face damage.
Minions like Spymistress, Skyvateer, Worgen Infiltrator and ofcourse Akama itself are your early game options and combo activators for next turns involving Ashtongue Slayer and Greyheart Sage.
2. Secrets.
This is an interesting part. It also have a card draw aspect with Dirty Tricks, board presence with Ambush and the most fun secret ever made Bamboozle which works great when DH tries to kill your 1 health minion. For the early game you have Secretkeeper, secrets (whole new package which gives you versatility to choose from depending on the match up) paired with a very strong control tool such as Blackjack Stunner and the mvp of this deck Shadowjeweler Hanar. Now this guy can definetely change the game. You can play him early on with coin on turn 1 and follow up with secrets every turn so it will be hard to remove or you can sqeeze all value out of him on turn 7 (it will guarantee you 4 secrets, 3 on top of a tree and 1 being in hand). Imagine doing this turn 7 tricks while your secretkeeper on board :-)
And on top of those cards you have an additional tempo support with EVIL Miscreant and a game finisher Eviscerate and a strong control set containing Flik Skyshiv, Maiev Shadowsong and Backstab (which is also activate your Miscreants).
All in all seems balanced, right?
Mulligan
This is the moment where mixed archetype shines bright.
You can go for stealthed package or secret one, depends on what you like.
Essentially you are aiming for early 1 mana drops.
Going first without coin you want Spymistress, Secretkeeper or Worgen Infiltrator.
Going second with coin you are looking for Shadowjeweler Hanar, Skyvateer and any of your 1 drops mentioned above.
Your aim is to establish your board and support it following turns with secrets or stealth combo cards.
Against combo decks, such as Spell Druid, OTK DH, Spell Mage etc. focus on secret package from the very start of the game.
Against aggro decks go for stealth package, you will outpace them, no problem.
Against control, such as Res priest focus on stealth and try to have at least one secret in hand to be able to Blackjack Stunner his taunts and heals. Maiev Shadowsong will win you games here.

I had a 100% WR and then lost against warrior, out of all classes!? Can you explain that to me
you what?
I feel like these Risky Skipper, Rampage, Armorsmith Warriors are super effective against this stealthy rogue
Replace for Skyvateer please people, I'm poor AF can't buy wings or adventures.
considering fresh deck change (Burrowing Scorpid joined the party, Worgen Infiltrator has left the building*) you can just leave worgens in the deck.
Oh yeah man, what do you think about Hooked Scimitar ? For maximum damage only, or Worgen is better to active stealth combos?
yes friend, worgens are better. because you are out of 2x stealthed minions (you dont have skyvateer). so you need to activate those stealth mechanics.
After playing 10 or so games with this deck, I feel like there is no win condition. Often times, it just gets annoying for the opponent with the mass of secrets from hanar but eventually the deck runs out of steam and I'm often drawn out my deck while the opponent is still at around 15 health.
It's because there is no galakrond here, i get that this deck is fun and you can win games with it, that's perfectly fine but there will be no "legit" meta Rogue decks without Galakrond until it rotates out for obvious reasons.
strange question. What is the win condition in the aggro\tempo deck? You try to push face and playing on curve defending your minions for next turns to deal more damage with them. What WC do you need? My another rogue deck is a malygos type. Obvious WC, right? But try to guess, how many times Maly was in the bottom of the deck or in the starting hand being just a dead card. You are playing HS my friend, without a due rng or perfect card draw you will lose with any deck.
Tempo deck my friend. Not always your win condition is one or two cards. Tempo decks don't have a clear win condition, you just have to go face and be faster than your opponent. You're probably trading too much. As a rule in most tempo decks, almost always you don't have to trade, because you're ahead in tempo. The opponent will trade for you. You only trade in certain occasions, when you know that the opponent will have a tempo swing turn with the minions on board (like Heistbaron Togwaggle with a lackey for example), or when you just had a REALLY bad hand or turn and need to trade in order to survive. Otherwise, straight to smorctown, homie.
First day of expansion I created an almost identical deck with the difference of Burrowing Scorpid instead of Worgen Infiltrator (at first I thought it would rarely kill with the 2 dmg but actually you can orchestrate enemy minions to have just 2 health pretty easy, e.g. backstab).
Other very interesting card which I would suggest is Ruststeed Raider. I had a feeling a 5-cost taunt with rush would prove useful as basically you get 5 damage to an attackable minion AND it leaves a 1/4 taunt or higher. But the craziest combo is with Bamboozle.
Kill a minion, stay taunt, watch your 1/something turn into an 8-mana minion, which they STILL attack even if it doesn't have taunt!
Flix proved a bit too expensive and useless when the enemy goes wide. I experimented with Plaguebringer, and due to the stealth minions it's quite often you have a minion give it the poisonous sting. Still I think one would be enough to not break the curve too often.
Thanks for the feedback. Tomorrow I will change a list a bit due to the current meta and my personal experience with the deck, also considering thoughts of people who commented.Burrowing Scorpid will be in the list. And Secretkeeper Will be replaced in favor of two new cards. Stay tuned.
I'll never understand this "upvote and I'll post a guide" business.
Why hold others hostage like that? Just post the guide!
It's not like the guide was written all by itself and is just waiting to be posted. I don't see why someone would bother writing a guide if there is no interest in the deck.
A guide would more than likely create interest in a deck though.
Regardless, it's still a crappy tactic to force players that may be interested in your deck but are unsure how to play it to upvote your deck in order to get a guide.
Yes, if there is no interest in the deck, there is no need in the guide. But people voted hard and asked for the deck piloting base so I wrote it. Fair and square.
There is no raising interest tactic for me. I achieved almost everything I wanted in the game through years. So it is a matter of sharing and contribution to the community.
I'm sure a guide would attract viewers. But not everyone has time to sit down and write a detailed guide. It can take at least two hours or so, and first you need to really know the deck well to be able to write one. It takes time and effort, and if you're a working person that spends the little free time they have playing hearthstone, it's really pointless to invest your time in a guide nobody will read.
My bad. Maybe invest the gold?
