It didn't for a while... but now I feel that it does. I've actually been running a list this week that doesn't include the albatross that I feel is better. I'm currently 7 Diamond, probably getting close to legend by the end of the stream tonight. will keep you posted.

Just returned to HS after a three year break, and this deck is the most fun i've ever had! So fun feeling the frustration when you fill the board with Convincing Infiltrator's :D

I love to sacrifice Vargoth, reborn him next, and sacrifice him again, then control the game till 9 mana crystals. Then play mass ressurection :D I'd love to see the face of my opponent

One of my favorite decks, however it started to be obliterated by demon hunter at diamond 3 to 1. Literally have 0-9 against them since yesterday. Other than that - a pretty solid deck

Yeah unfortunately DH is overpowered and if you have a bad or even slightly average hand, you lose. I feel this applies to most decks though =( Just pray for them to fix the game lol

Since the meta is dominated by demon hunters, it's a problem if your deck always lose against them.

Hi there PoimlokTTV! I am just wondering how this deck is functioning and structured now. I use both this deck as well as the superb spell (Azerite) based deck you use. I see there are changes you have made that aren't specified in the old setup/mulligan. Mainly, I see that Shadow Madness is gone and a few cards were added. I feel Albatross are still very viable even at 4 cost. I'm trying to scale through the ladder and would really appreciate some elaboration on the changes. In one of your videos (Dread Raven) I saw you were playing around with Mass Dispel. Again, any help is appreciated.

Hey Served! I was actually just retesting the deck a bit ago on stream! I just updated the list to what I would currently run in the meta. I removed madness because it was contaminating the resurrection pool too much. I agree with you that Albatross is still viable! Thanks for trying out my fun priest decks I appreciate it more than you know! You really should be hard mulliganing for alba against control - priest, mage, rogue; against aggro like DH face, you want to find Nova, breath, convincing, even penance or smite sometimes a decent keep if you are holding sethekk. Wow! Thank you for your timely response. I am a big WoW / Hearthstone player and we all know those games are investments that require challenge and being at the peak of your performance. I have played a long time and have NEVER been into the "watching others on Twitch" thing. You've changed my mind! You have established quite the following, it seems, and I'll be checking out your channel. I enjoy the new Azerite build quite a bit, but I think Albatross still takes the cake across the board. It's just such a Highlander destroyer. I'll be using both of these builds as they are my favorites in the game, and I'll report back on my stats with this new Alba-take. Thanks again!

I give a second chance to this deck, and i'm making it work. I have been rank 1 - 3 stars 4 times already. But then I lose the next match.... All 4 times that match was versus a rogue, the matchup I have most problems so far (2-6)

Can't get into legend. Current record is 35-30, 54%...

any tip? should I get rid of albatross after the nerf? 

Gah! Rogue is the priest killer, my friend. That is just unfortunate luck and I would recommend you just stick it out and keep up the grind! You could try replacing an albatross with a 3 drop like blademaster but I think the birdy still works well! My only other recommendation is to watch someone else pilot it and maybe see if you are overlooking some hard to see plays

i havent Psychopomp × 2 , can i use another card to replace it?

Hey Riot! I think you could certainly replace psycho now that albatross is no longer a 3. Maybe try adding Bone Wraiths instead of the pomps!

Thanks, my thoughts have combined with yours, and the Bone Wraiths*2 takes some effective. And there is another question that should the Galakrond，无言 ×1 can be replace by the activate the obliscer, it may effect in some fast match that the galakrond.

I got problem when encountering DH on diamond 5, now that albatross was nerfed to 4 mana is it wise to switch 1 of that with ooze?

Hey Berb! To be perfectly honest with you I have yet to play Veilbatross since the patch. Albatross wins games solely on the fact that it clogs up HLs and ruins other draws. Aggro is tough now that we cant curve the albatross out on 3 as you've encountered. I think the ooze is a smart call, but I also have reservations about removing albatross since we can win games with the card on it's own, especially against lock and the mirror. I would maybe try to remove Apotheosis and add shadow madness instead for now and see how that helps against the aggro matchups. Hope this helps!
