I am a f2p player and hit legend a few hours before the expasion came out, playing mainly Galakrond zoolock as I am really fond of the archetype. After the release of Outland I wanted to try out the new class and built a deck w/o Metamorphosis or Kayn Sunfury, seeing as I want to wait to see if they really are worth crafting. I went from about 3000 legend to 2037 winning 7 games in a row before losing my first one. I strongly recommend trying out this deck to all f2p players out there. The only card I am uncertain about is Frenzied Felwing; If you happen to have either Kayn Sunfury or Metamorphosis I suggest you play them instead. I have tried Faceless Corruptor, but I feel like it's not a good fit. Priestess of Fury is also a viable choice, I'll try it later.

edit: I put Priestess of Fury instead of Frenzied Felwing
2nd edit: Due to the immense popularity of DH decks I decided to cut one Furious Felfin and one Spectral Sight, in favour of a Sightless Watcher and an Acidic Swamp Ooze.
Keep in mind that with this deck, especially in mirror matches, Mulligan is crucial: ensuring that you'll be able to take advantage of the Outcast Mechanic is almost always needed to win. Also, I do not believe that Kayn Sunfury is worth adding right now, as DHs do not play taunts; but either Metamorphosis or Glaivebound Adept are a welcome addition if you want more cards that deal damage to the face.

3rd edit: Ok so I noticed that Imprisoned Antaen, Eye Beam, Skull of Gul'dan and Aldrachi Warblades, all four of which were in this deck, have been nerfed. I am not sure how much worse they are now, I am going to try them out to see whether to remove them from the decklist.
So far I have opted to remove two Imprisoned Antaens in favour of two Glaivebound Adepts. I think Aldrachi Warblades is still worth playing, because if you use it with your hero power or, say, Twin Slice you can heal for quite a bit, which has helped me in several situations. Eye Beam, on the other hand, is considerably worse at 1 mana imo. However, I don't think I'll remove it just yet as it's still a means of healing, which DH direly needs. Skull of Gul'dan is somewhat slower, but it does feel still quite powerful. So far I've decided to keep both skulls, but I might remove one later. I'll keep updating this post.
4th edit: I have replaced Spectral Sight and one Eye Beam with two Frenzied Felwings, which probably should have been in this deck to begin with.
5th edit: I removed Furious Felfin in favour of a Sightless Watcher and swapped Acidic Swamp Ooze with a second Eye Beam.
Just reached top 1000 legend using this deck: https://imgur.com/a/F7jxAQd. Now I think I'm going to try playing a different class for a while, so this will probably be my last revision to this deck. I hope you have fun playing it!
Here's a video from Tommy Wave showcasing the deck:
And another one by Kadakk, who played an older version (albeit not much different from the latest):
If the current version does not work out well for you, or if you are not encountering many DHs, you can try removing an Illidari Felblade and two Ur'zul Horrors in favour of a second Priestess of Fury and two Spectral Sights.
6th edit: After the latest set of nerfs I decided to cut two Battlefiends in favour of two Blazing Battlemages. I think Frenzied Felwing is still viable, as well as Altruis the Outcast and Glaivebound Adept. That being said, I might make other changes as I keep playing this deck, in which case I'll keep updating it here. I have to admit that I neglected it for a while, as I have been playing mostly arena these days, but now that the nerfs have been released I want to experiment with the new changes and see how much impactful they truly are.
7th edit: I decided to remove one Blazing Battlemage and one Ur'zul Horror and added back the two Battlefiends. I was prompted to do so by the fact that almost every DH I encountered today was running Battlefiend and almost always managed to attack at least once after playing it.
8th edit: Thanks to the suggestion made by user Crackadactyl (I can't seem to figure out how to tag them, so I'm going to leave the link to their profile page: https://www.hearthpwn.com/members/Crackadactyl), I decided to remove one Ur'zul Horror and two Frenzied Felwings and replaced them with two Raging Felscreamers and a second Priestess of Fury. I think this not only renders the deck more "new player-friendly" (as I realized Frenzied Felwing required a conspicous amount of gold to get), but also a better fit for the current meta. With these most recent changes this deck is better classified as a Tempo DH, rather than an aggro DH, which means that, while the mulligan remains crucial, the gameplan is going to be less about hitting the enemy face and more focused on utilizing mana efficiently to have a strong board presence and making convenient trades. Keep in mind that you can set up for a high tempo swing turn by using Raging Felscreamer at turn four (which you can get w/ Sightless Watcher at, say, turn 3) into Priestess of Fury at turn 5, which can sometimes be devastating, and is not anymore risky, as Sacrificial Pact has been nerfed. You can still choose to play it more aggresively if you want, but keep in mind that there are more high-cost cards now.
I have 2 warglaives of azzinoth, what should i replace to place them into the deck?
Very sorry for the late reply :( anyway, try removing the Aldrachi Warblades
What do I take out for Kayn and Metamorph? I have both.
You could do one Glaivebound Adept and one Illidari Felblade to keep the mana curve the same, or take out both of either.
I lean towards the two Felblades.
Thanks. I think ill take out the fellblades
I can't understand why this deck has so many upvotes. This deck is really weak, like one of the worst I've ever played. These 2-3 stronger can be easily killed and you are left with nothing, because all these little cheap minions are getting removed with AOE spells or battlecries (and I feel like half of the enemy decks are AOE damage cards - welcome to Hearthstone 2020).
If you are quite lucky and enemy lets you - you can deal like 15-20 face damage, but that's it. Can't do any more because you either have no cards or no 0minions to deal damage or enemy has big taunts and big minions or has lot of heal/armor. It's even worse than aggro murlock deck because there's no chance to win the game in 5-7 turns. And I am playing in silver where people have much weaker decks and less OP cards than in platinum or higher ranks. I just lost another match to a priest - I ran out of cards, he was still at 30hp (lot of healing) and still had 15 cards to play.
BTW: This "guide" is not a guide anyway. No informations about how to play this deck, what's the strategy, what mulligan is best etc? This guide has only informations about what you've changed to the deck, but it has no guide how to play it.
First of all, I want to say that I appreciate your comment, even if your feedback was not positive, as it still gives me an estimation of how well the deck is performing for other players, which I find to be very important.
This is a "Budget" deck, which means that it is bound to be weaker than other DH decks with more high cost cards, such as Kayn Sunfury, Metamorphosis and Warglaives of Azzinoth.
Moreover, this deck was initially posted before the first wave of nerfs. Then, I found it to be quite successful (with a winrate of over 75% at rank legend) and I recieved positive feedback. After the first set of nerfs, I made some changes and managed to reach top 1000 legend using only this deck, and while I did notice the winrate was getting slightly lower, I was still recieving positive feedback in the comments (in this period, also, I recieved the great majority of the upvotes). After the most recent nerfs, I've been having trouble figuring out what is the most efficient decklist to use, while staying true to the purpose of this deck, which is a DH deck for f2p players. I, too, have noticed that my current winrate w/ it has markedly decreased, but I am still in a phase of experimentation, as I am trying out some variants of the deck to see which one works best. That being said, I haven't been able to play it as much as I would have wanted in the past two days.
Fellow user Crackadactyl has suggested to remove two Frenzied Felwings in favour of two Raging Felscreamers and to cut one Eye Beam for a second Priestess of Fury. I have tried his variant of my deck (even if I replaced an Ur'zul Horror w/ a second Eye Beam) and I have a feeling it might be a better fit for the current meta. Even if I have to change the deck archetype from Face DH to tempo DH, I'm going to update it (and metion Crackadactyl in the description), as i feel like aggro DH might be worse rn.
Lastly, I never said that the deck description would contain a guide, because I never did write one in fact. As you said, I chose simply to indicate all the changes I've made so that anybody would be able to play any version of the deck they wanted. If you do need a guide, though, youtubers Kadakk and Tommy Wave have made a really good explanation of how this deck works, even though they did not play the latest version.
I hope that with the latest changes I am going to implement you'll find this deck to be more effective in ladder. Wish you all the best
I dont appreciate your deck. Its pretty noob and easy to obtain for anyone. Its nice to see that you promote broken class while thinking you are doing cool thing :) Anyone who plays demon hunter is noob. This class is to easy to play. But maybe some people are to stupid to see it...or it is class for pure dumb idiots ...who knows. Anyway fuck any DH deck :)
How old are you 3 years old? One class is always easy and strong... welcome to cards.
Demon hunter is noob class - you cant change this statement. And please dont use "strong and easy" to cover "noob and full of bullshit". Its good for people who like to be blind like Illidian.
BTW: another fun fact. Deck is called "Tempo demon hunter"(lol) while it is classic face demon hunter as you want to go face any time until you play aggro or mirror.
looks like you could just put just any DH card in a set and you'll still be wining..
Look at it this way: if DH had been a bust, just about everyone would have been disappointed in Blizzard, so I guess they needed to be almost certain of its success, which they accomplished by printing out cards of insane power level.
Can I replace these cards?
Frenzied Felwing
Thanks!
Try using two Spectral Sights.
Try 2x Raging Felscreamer, and drop the second Eye Beam for another Priestess of Fury. Using Sightless Watcher, you can very often set up a turn 4 Felscreamer into a turn 5 Priestess, which is absolutely busted. So many decks struggle to deal with this.
I agree with you. I never thought about putting Raging Felscreamer in the deck, because it makes for a more tempo oriented build, even though tempo DH and aggro DH are not much different.
Awesome deck! I just hit legendary with your deck and didn't even need the legendaries Kayn and Metamorphis ( despite having them). I would even argue frenzied felwing is better, especially in mirror games. I won from almost every other DH with this deck. Only warlock is pretty much impossible to beat and you need some luck on mage, priest and druid.
Thanks! I'm glad it worked out for you. I hope that with the most recent nerfs warlock won't be as much of an issue to tackle.
Got stuck from plat 5-1 for a while at aoo release and made this deck yesterday, got to D4 and I'll keep grinding. Great budget deck
Thank you, man! Wish you good luck for the rest of your climb
