[I'm so pleased that you share my love to this deck ♥]
Hi guys,
I'm here with another brainless hunter deck ;P
Before we start, I would like to share my stats (since DH nerfs):
Mulligan:
Always keep: Prince Keleseth and Dwarven Sharpshooter
vs. Mage: Springpaw, Bearshark, keeping Zilliax might be good against secret and Loatheb if going second
vs. Warlock and Priest: Bearshark, Maiev Shadowsong, Spellbreaker and Loatheb same as above
vs. Demon Hunter: Springpaw, Diving Gryphon, Bone Wraith, Zilliax, Deathstalker Rexxar if going second
vs. Paladin: Springpaw, Diving Gryphon, Spellbreaker, Maiev Shadowsong and Bone Wraith
vs. Druid: Bearshark, Loatheb and Shaky Zipgunner
You can keep any 3 mana drop if already got any of above. Sometimes it's also good idea to mulligan for Spiteful Summoner against slower decks, but it's a bit risky
General strategy:
Deck is similar to old Midrange Shaman, but with additional punch at late game. Easy to play and easier to master...
Against aggro protect your face at all cost, don't be scared to play Maiev Shadowsong on small minions, you're not going to race them, at some point you will gain control and win ;)
Against control try to develop board as fast possible, don't lose control and save resources for comeback, keep Maiev Shadowsong for big taunts like Voidlord, Convincing Infiltrator etc. Play around AoEs like Defile and Mass Hysteria. Use Nagrand Slam both for trades and as a finisher.
I was really enjoying playing this deck up to diamond 10 with a 60% win rate. But at diamond, I a hit a wall. I was simply unable to win against the strength of decks like highlander priest and discard warlock. This deck is powerful, but not stupidly powerful enough to take you to wild legend.
How this deck performs against Jade Druid? I think that I can add Skulking Geist to counter those pesky Jade Golems.
I haven't played many games against them, Loatheb is a key and I would rather add Mossy Horror
Great deck. Shaky Zipgunner fit nicely in it. I just added Leeroy Jenkins instead of Zixor, Apex Predator for quicker hunting.
Just hit Legend with only playing this deck, I urge you guys to try it out.
LOVE This Deck, thank you!!!!
Hey, I just wanted to thank you for making this deck. My favorite deck of the expansion so far... awesome utilization of Nagrand Slam and the recently buffed Call of the Wild. I climbed from Bronze 10 to Diamond 4 over the past few days with this, hoping to go all the way; so thank you!
EDIT: I've been testing out Escaped Manasaber, it seems very good so far. Allows you to cheat out your Spiteful Summoner (or Rexxar) early or just curve out on turn 5 because you can play two 3-drops. The stealth also seems to pair very well with rush minions for a swing turn.
Wow. Thanks for that. This deck is so much fun. Killin those mechethuns all day :)) Greetings my friend
Hey,
Why Shaky Zipgunner and Bone Wraith?
We need some board control in early game and Bone Wraith provide it. Shaky Zipgunner - what can I say... he's got decent stats and synergy with rush minions, he's definitely underrated
