Hello!
Today I did some ranking with the new rank system and to my surprise i did pretty well.
I made a real monster here, able to counter most of the decks on wild ladder right now.
I only lost to murloc paladin, who turn 5 OTKed me and a secret mage because i didn't draw any early-game cards.
I'll do a detailed writeup if i get 25 upvotes. I'm also going to upload some ladder videos later on.
Since it is a wild deck, mulligan guide will be a "long story short"
*edit: I'm now 19-2, which is 90% winrate and still climbing

Gameplay 1: (yea, i'm aware of my misplays ;) )
Gameplay 2:
So up to now i reached diamond 5 and 2 stars with this deck only. Overall, i think the deck is decent, i went 24-6 so 80% winrate, lost only to hyper aggresive decks because i didn't have any answers in the early-game. Some statistics:
Last game i won, but got disconnected. I also have replays from games I've played, so if anyone is interested - pm me.
*edit 2: Hey, i'm glad that you like the deck. I know many of you struggle against certain deck types such as aggro, but remember to tech against it. The point is this list is universal, tech choices depend on what do you face - no pun intended :)
I'm still experimenting with the deck, i will make a list of possible changes soon. I also listen to the community, to impreve the decklist and therefore below is a list of possible changes to try out.
Tech choices:
!remember to choose your tech depending on the meta you face!
Kezan Mystic - steal your opponent's secret, works well with brann
Skull of the Man'ari - replacement for Krul, if you don't want to play all demons from your hand
Gnomeferatu, Demonic Project - nice addition to the deck, disabling combo decks
Dark Pact - to activate voidcaller when needed, comes with additional heal effect
Demonwrath, Corruption, Dark Skies, Hellfire, Shadowflame - aoe effects
Zola the Gorgon - replacement for Youthful Brewmaster
Loatheb, Unseen Saboteur- seal quest mages and other type of spell-based decks
Rin, the First Disciple - tech for longer games
Boompistol Bully - good tech against rogues
if you have troubles against freeze effects maybe add a living dragonbreath as a tech option?
Congrats on such a high winrate. You will probably hit legend soon. Renolock is my favoriate deck too. No idea how you deal with all the broken quest mages, especially since you don't tech Loatheb.
Idk about Krul (since I'm low on dust and he barely sees play), so I replaced it with Emperor Thaurissan, since that card just seems like it's overall better value in any kind of situation.
Krul replacements?
try skull of manari
I've replaced Expired Merchant with Gnomeferatu, because I don't think I will need the value of the Merchant that often. Replaced Eater of Secrets with Kezan Mystic as I think it suits the meta better at the moment. And replaced Youthful Brewmaster with Zola the Gorgon. That 1 mana more can sometimes be a disadvantage, but generally speaking Zola is the better card.
Krul the Unshackled hasn't felt awkward yet, but I have only played 4 games with this deck. Won 3. I really like it so thanks for sharing!
I don't think you need Krul in your deck. You only have 4 other demons, one of whom is voidcaller, which might ruin Krul anyway. So late in the game, a 7-9 body with no effects just isn't good enough; you need this, voidlord, and Mal'Ganis in hand in order to make it worth playing which, even with Sense Demons in your deck, might not happen soon enough.
But of course, you're the one who has tested this deck more. Has Krul been more valuable than, say, an Enhanced Dreadlord would have been? Has voidcaller pulled Krul out of your hand often?
This list is dank. +1
Definitely needs Gnomeferatu though.
I would also add Gnomeferatu but I am not sure whether you should use Krul the Unshackled , to me it seems like he is too much. And also I would like to add that you encountered a bit differenet match ups from my experience. For example the second most played class against me is priest and yours is least played. I am currently Diamond 3 and the more I go up the more I feel like there are only mages, a lot of them, and mix of raza priest and agro decks like odd paladin. Against agro if you can spend 9 mana on minion you might as well just play voidlord and you dont care about that 7 9 body, against priest you will rarely find him in position where he doesnt have board clear but it will definately win you some games, and against mages it dependable on the match up but it still feels like an overkill. Plus it can ruin your Voidcaller combo, which is why you should also consider even replacing Despicable Dreadlord but it depends on how much paladins you meet because it wins you games against them.
true, forgot about that card :)
You can replace Brewmaster with Gnomeferatu to counter Priest Raza and Anduin
I've played twice against DHlock and it's just 50% - either you draw good and win or he has all combo in hand , then it's just game over. My idea is to tech plot twist and fel lord betrug that's the only way to do it or maybe you could just tech something to swarm the board and then plague of flames the entire board. I've experimented with blood bloom too, so you can also do this as well.
BUT, the real question is, what do you do against DH warlock. that's all I'm seeing right now at D5........every 2nd or 3rd opponent, and they ALL fill their board by turn 5-6. It's depressing. This new system is the same on CRAP for me.......i get to rank 5, and can't go any higher. I'm trying EVERYTHING. now I'm going to build DH warlock and get smashed by other stuff......JUST YOU WAIT AND SEE. haha................i need therapy!!!!!!!!!!!!
I see you're D5 also........lemme know when you get past that.........
👍 keep going
