I spent a couple of hours tinkering in theory, and decided the best way forward with Renolock is using combo-disruption rather than Mecha'thun

Why no Mecha'thun?
Because regular Mecha'thun warlock is more effective in that case, this is more focused on disruption

Voidlord?
Replaced by Enhanced Dreadlord, since it doesn't disrupt our Demon pool, which is even more important with the new prime now. Plus lifesteal is nice

Dragonqueen Alexstrasza?
No dragon synergy, and it makes room for disruption effects and Demon synergy. You win through powerful synergy now, not standalone good cards like the old days of Dr. Boom

Valdris Felgorge?
Fun but mediocre at best. Probably only good in Handlock

Corrupting Mist, Kobold Librarian and Mistress of Mixtures?
Better AOE now with the new double damage Mo'arg Artificer, and low cost minions make room for the new The Dark Portal to hit impactful cards, like disruption combos and late-game minions.

What's with all this disruption?
Quest mages, Mages in general, Mages and Mages. Also, Priest doesn't like it when you burn their Raza with Dirty Rat or Gnomeferatu.

Shadow Council? Really?
I think it will do nicely as a late-game drop with Skull of the Man'ari, as a way to push a steady stream of big demons.

Finally, why Baleful Banker?
Fatigue is a bitch, but not with this guy. Pair that with the new legendary Kanrethad Ebonlocke to help starve off that fatigue timer. You often can WIN fatigue battles with Gnomeferatu on your side too!

Ok, the last question for real, why no Keli'dan the Breaker?
Well, he seems unreliable and at best a 6 mana siphon soul but worse since you kinda want the healing in many cases. A 6 mana Twisting Nether is tempting, but not getting to choose when you use it, even if it comes with a 3/3 kinda breaks it for me. Depends how good he is on release though!

Do you guys think this is a good list or not? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. Thanks for reading fam

I REALLY WISHED I COULD ADD SENSE DEMONS SOMEWHERE

(Against super combo decks, add in Valdris Felgorge for cycle to hit you combo disruption more if you really want to. Add corrupting mist if Paladin becomes a thing)
