You know that you can play 2 or 3 Galakronds in one game?
You can do that with this version of Zoo Galakrond Warlock!
There are no expensive cards, so you can play budget Warlock deck right now!
Played 61 games, Win Rate is 61%.
Hope you enjoy it!
I didn't have Chaos Gazer so I added 2 Faceless Corruptor instead. It turned out well because of the added tempo, and Chaos Gazer needs good rng anyway.
I also don't like Flame Imp because it takes you to very low hp vs aggro decks. Is there any viable replacement?
There are a lot of variation and replacements, but Gazers cost 3, Corruptors cost 5.
That;s why I remove them
Something changed probably since this video guide because nowadays if you discard Galakrond, the Wretched with Expired Merchant and after you get back in your hand Galakrond, the Wretched those new cards cannot be buffed with summon galakrond cards.
Example:
If you discard Galakrond, the Wretched when it was summoned twice, then you get it back by Expired Merchant you get 2x Galakrond, the Wretched with power equal to summon 2 demons (+5 armor) but that cards cannot be buffed with others like Dragonblight Cultist. Is this a new patch or something else?
Hey NK, just tried the deck and the exact situation as you and it worked, so they must have fixed it.
I have been playing this mechanism for sometime but didnt see anything cranky there...
the returned Galakrond eats all the buff.
maybe you discarded the Galakrond at odd buffs ? (1st & 3rd buff)
any discards or shuffle of odd buffs will return you the even buff version, while even buffs are kept intact.
1st -> 0th
3rd -> 2nd
This is a nice and fun deck, and with some modifications, maybe even viable for the next meta, since most cards will still remain after the rotation.
I made some changes to make it play more like a traditional Galakrond deck, but with the twist of having the 'infinite' combo.
-2 Fiendish Servant
-2 Flame Imp
-2 Blazing Battlemage
-2 Knife Juggler
-1 Fiendish Rites
-1 Scarab Egg
+1 Veiled Worshipper - (more consistency to draw the combo sooner)
+1 Soulwarden -(maybe overkill, but if the 2 extra Galakronds from the Merchants doesn't win the game, 3 more from the Soulwarden surely will. lol)
+2 Dark Skies - (i think its a must have in any Warlock deck)
+2 Mortal Coil - (another way to kill the Merchants on demand, and also, moar draw!)
+1 SN1P-SN4P
+1 Zilliax - (to make sure we survive till we get the combo)
+2 Sacrificial Pact - (to make sure we survive till we get the combo)

agree with the soulwarden :P~~~
infinite is so fun :P~~~
but what I worried is rumble and boomsday exps will be rotated out of standard soon,
and we need some replacements for the Egg, SNIP, Zilliax, and warden.
Good zooing deck indeed :P~~~
I happened to have a soulwarden + plot-twist version maybe you wanna try :P~~~
Well this is just fun as hell...thinking about adding a coil to make sure no silences hit the Expired Merchant
Why no Soulwarden? Better than the Gazer I guess.
He is too heavy for this version deck.
It mostly Zoolock than Control
