I find 2x Power of Creation is essential for this deck type, putting out two full health Damaged Stegotron on turn 6 is bonkers, I also like to throw in a Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron as a hail mary play (it's honestly not a great card, I mostly just think it's hilarious). 1x Tortollan Pilgrim is really good, and Malygos, Aspect of Magic is a great add too. I also like putting in a Crowd Roaster

If you can your hands on those pricey cards, I'd cut Learn Draconic (too slow and bad with Tortollan Pilgrim), you can live without frostbolts and fireballs. I'd run with 1 Arcane Intellect as this deck has a lot of card generators and high value cards, but there is a lack of dragon cards that synergize with this deck, so you need to draw what options you have. Big Ol' Whelp × 2 is a also a bit too slow for the current meta.

The general strategy with these decks is to hold on through the early game, then use Dragoncaster to take over the mid game, then get the win with Pyroblast and/or dominating the board with Conjurer's Calling and other high value cards. This deck suffers from being too slow for the meta and really needs some better 1-3 drop options for dragons, which forced me to put in a Violet Spellwing I don't think anyone's breaking rank 5 with this deck type (Highlander mage is better, I just have no Highlander Mage cards).

Interesting deck, it just doesn't have the power level to grind from 5 to L. 

Thats fair. It's definitely lacking stronger cards such as Khadgar, Malygos, Aspect of Magic and some epics such as possibly Power of Creation, its just that I don't have access to those cards. Tortollan Pilgrim is also a card I really want to add.

This is around as strong as I can make the deck with the resources available to me atm, and well I'm having fun with it so thats a win for me in a way. I'm not around rank 5 so I wouldn't have that experience but I can definitely see where your coming from.

no Polymorph ? what to do against walldruid and ressPriest? Just waiting for alex and Fireball him?

Most of the other cards have done well to deal with such threats but I don't see why you couldn't add it. It is true that there can be big threats that have reborn or scary effects but if you really want to shut down a druid you'll probably need to add Spellbreaker or Ironbeak Owl instead because of all the untargetable minions. Polymorph definitely could be a good addition don't get me wrong, its just that I struggled to find things to cut.

Since I don't have have zilliax or alex, I'm using Power of Creation Khadgarand Malygos, Aspect of Magic

I'm thinking of cutting out Reno since most games don't even go that far and even if they do, the win condition seems to be khadgar and summoning big minions

edit: After 30 or so games, i'm adding reno back in cuz matches go pretty far in and usually i'm overwhelmed by wide beefy boards

Yeah Malygos, Aspect of Magic is really good with this deck I just didn't have it; same goes for Khadgar

I've also noticed that Reno doesn't get much light in games bar from the occasional control match up so it probably could be easily cut but I just enjoy the card so much that I am tempted to keep it.

Some replacement for Alexstrasza?

Try adding Power of Creation works perfectly with Dragoncaster.

I did this change and it won me lots of games already.
