So a few weeks ago I decided to start playing hearthstone again and started at rank 20.
Now I am in the top 500 Legend all because of this deck, I did tweak it constantly throughout the climb depending on what decks were popular but only minor changes. This list, however, has made me go 11/1 in Legend.
I won't do a guide because I'm a casual player and there are plenty of guides out there since this deck is not dissimilar to many other versions of the same archetype, hope you have as much fun with this deck as I did :)
Edit: After reading feedback and playing a few more games (still around 85% in Legend) I felt as if Spirit of the Shark was being a bit too clunky even for late-game value generation. Recently a well-respected twitch streamer JalexanderHS wrote up an excellent article explaining the sticky intuitions surrounding cards like the shark. Link below:

Although I have had (ridiculously) successful experiences with the shark, it is indeed too inconsistent. So, I have replaced it with Blink Fox, to give consistent value whilst increasing the playability of Vendetta and Underbelly Fence.
Hey.
Got all the cards except Flik.
What card do you recommend as a replacement ?
Thanks :)
This is tough, Flik is ridiculously powerful and would be worth crafting in the future if you like to play rogue. I'd probably just replace it with more value such as Hench-Clan Burglar, SI:7 Agent or Lifedrinker.
Thanks for your help Scaro ;)
How the hell do you win against face hunters with this thing?? I die by turn 6
Every deck in Hearthsone has bad match-ups, and face hunter is one of them. pretty much just mulligan hard for Zilliax and Bone Wraith. You could also replace Bad Luck Albatross or Blink Fox with Crystallizer if facing an aggro meta.
I replaced Devoted Maniac with Crystallizer because I feel like the Maniac always slows me down..

Yo!!! I was one of your victims XD
gg bro
highlander hunter yeah? gg's mate :)
.
I'd live to try this deck. Just dont have snipsnap and zilliax and dont want to craft them do close to rotation. Any fair replacement or it will significantly lower my wr?
They are probably the most powerful and most used cards in the game, especially Zilliax. For Zilliax you can use the Khartut Defender which serves a similar purpose. SN1P-SN4P can be replaced by Hench-Clan Burglar.
Edit. As for your question about winrate; I don't think it will change, except maybe against aggro decks it might struggle a tad more.
I play wild
Changed Dragonmaw Poacher with Eater Of Secrets
not working against any aggro deck
if you find yourself in an aggro meta it might be interesting to try the Serrated Tooth.
You could also replace Bad Luck Albatross with Crystallizer.
this deck is terrible vs pure galakrond rogue
Yes, this deck is generally unfavoured vs galakrond rogue. My stats against all rogue decks is 10/4, the weird thing is that I had 3 losses to highlander rogue and 1 to galakrond, but that's only a small sample size.
I replaced Spirit of the Shark with Crystallizer . It is a good opener and shark play is hard to get value mostly because of its mana cost. Highlander rogue decks are pretty strong and this variation works well. I started to play this deck at rank 4. Now it is 6-1. I got a few warriors and priests. For aggro decks you need a really good draw for sure. For priests keep the Zephrys the Great for hex at 6 mana. You better add a frog into their pool. Try to control the board and their quest. And then probably game goes to fatigue play. Find an Academic Espionage and just make them concede.
Totally agree with everything. I actually used Crystallizer instead of Spirit of the Shark from rank 15 to rank 2 or 1 because of the frequency of aggro decks. I only added the shark in legend because everyone I faced was using slower decks that focused on generating value, so the shark was a way to out-value my opponent in the late-game. I also found priest a tough one if you don't get Zephrys the Great early.
