As a casual Standard only player, I had the damnedest time trying to beat The Amazing WTfBUr1n3duRF@C3offTurn2 Reno. Just when you think it's over, Galakrond says, "Hold my beer" and proceeds to do things that will scar you in ways that will eventually be chronicled in the Journal of Experimental Psychology.
Luckily people much smarter than me got it done with just a few Wild cards. Figured I'd pass it on.
Note: This is probably not the most optimal way (or enjoyable). This is just a way.
Make it to turn 5 with (or in Galakrond's case, at least 5 mana):
1x Test Subject
1x Holy Smite OR Topsy Turvy OR Forbidden Words
Then proceed to kill your Test Subject about 80 times....or 150+ times. #cryingontheinsdie
Worth not trying to out-value turn 1 8/8's with taunt.
Small note: it's faster to do the combo with Topsy than with Smite. Smite's animation is longer
OK. Here is my story.
First, I restarted the game until I had a good starting hand. So far so good. Then around turn 9 I had all the cards I needed for the combo and started doing it. After I had maybe 20 armor down, I was like "f*** this. I need two Knife Juggler, otherwise, this takes me forever.
Restart.
Ok, restart again until I have a good starting hand. Around turn 10, I have everything I need including the two Knife Jugglers. Nice. Let's do this. 10 minutes later, I have killed all armor and health, 1 HP remaining. GET ME OUTTA HERE! *knife juggling commences* My victory is so close! What is that? A secret triggers? What?! Ice Block? Ok? Ehm. Let's end this turn then. He f***s up all my minions, I try to play one more card and lose the next turn, while he has 1 HP. Nice.
Restart.
Ok, this time I play it safe. Restart until I have a good hand. Play the stupid combo. GET ME OUTTA HERE! GET ME OUTTA HERE! GET ME OUTTA HERE! etc. 20min later - victory. And believe me when I tell you, it was definitely not worth it.
I highly recommend this deck though if you hate yourself. 10/10 - IGN. Thank God it's over.
But seriously, thanks for the deck. It got the job done ;-)
Thank God Im not alone, WTF is this deck? you hate yourself? so much mulligan to do the combo and definetly dont worth it at all, i try another deck this take me what the little of my patience was left in this quarantine
GET ME OUT OF HERE ... UWU
Golden advise, mute sound when you get combo or you will hear "Get me outta here!" for hours after its done.
One attempt, 186 daggers ... GET ME OUTTA HERE!)
This deck is amazing! Thank you very much.
Thank you very much for saving me the frustration in the other wing. I was furious in the wing of evil because he tried many times with Priest Resurrection.
I kill both on first time... It's slow but work...
its work... but for goodness sake.. do it while you got 2 knife jugglers..
wery god deck, work before first time if you licker like me, thanks
Thank you so much for this deck !
Extremly annoying, but working. :-)
Did this first try against Galakrond. Obviously lucky with draws as you'll only have 3-4 turns to draw the combo. Just be prepared for this to take some time, each damage takes about 4-6 seconds so if Galakrond has a decent board on top of the 150 health, make sure you have something ready to watch. By the end of it you'll feel like your Test Subject.
It WORKED!!! After 4 tries to get the 5 cards to come up right before death. Now..."GET ME OUTTA HERE!!!"
Thanks for the madness...
Works fine - once you got the combo in hand. Even when mulliganing hard for the combo, this will take some tries!
I was lucky to hold two knife jugglers (and have enough mana to play both) when I got the combo, so this only took half as long. But still long!
