Very simple idea yet again. Use the cannons to your advantage to buff your minions and you will very quickly be able to smash them. I found I could just smack his face, but a bit of board control probably won’t hurt. I would advise that you remove anything other than the basic cannons if you are going to remove things, as the basic cannons are very good for buffing you’re minions.
