Introduction:

My guide will hopefully inspire you to play this deck well and be prepared for every match up, I will try and add mulligan guides against each encounter as well as a strategy to bring your opponent to their knees. I will add a little tip for every deck as well which could take you further.

I've gotten a 80% win rate so far with this version of the deck, will update this guide with specific matchups and a better guide overall during this week.

Note: Currently at 71%.

Card Replacement Guide:

Personally I think that the deck handles most decks well, but your position in ladder and who you face might push you to change a few cards. This version of the deck runs x2 Frothing Berserker in order to deal with embiggen druids, however there are other versions of this deck that pushes the deck towards another direction. For example you could play the deck more controly and push in a Deathwing, Mad Aspect aswell as a Barista Lynchen, a War Master Voone, two Dragon Breeder and two Emberscale Drake with synergies with your scions. This brings so much value to the deck but i feel like against embiggen druid he will always overvalue you!

Main Strategy:

This deck revolves around you controlling the board early until you can unleash your big boy (Galakrond, the Unbreakable) and then finishing off your opponent with either Leeroy Jenkins or Kor'kron Elite paired with one or two Inner Rage's and then doubling or trippling (In case of Kor'kron Elite) with Bloodsworn Mercenary

Note: Double Leeroy Jenkins deals 19 damage. Double Kor'kron Elite with one Inner Rage deals 15 damage. Double Kor'kron Elite with two Inner Rage deals 19 damage Tripple Kor'kron Elite with one Inner Rage deals 21 damage. Tripple Kor'kron Elite with two Inner Rage deals 27 damage.  (If you are not using Galakrond's Might deduct 3 damage and if you are using Ritual Chopper add 1 damage)

In a few match ups you will instead need to burn your opponent down fast and that is where Frothing Berserker comes in and does the job. (Do use your other to force him to remove those instead of your Frothing Berserker)

Specific Strategy:

Easy Matchups:

Face Hunter:
Win Condition: Drag game to late and deal with threats

Strategy:

Aah, the easiest win of your life. You will easily have a 100% win rate against these guys! As I might have stated before this deck is a nine headed hydra and needs to be played differently for different matchups. So here is the time when you become the control warrior that you are. Your scope against a face hunter is to make him run out of resources whilst keeping yourself safe from a Leeroy JenkinsSteady Shot to the face. We simply do this be using the few armor resources we have in our deck as well as potent taunt. You could even use a Titanic Lackey to protect your beautiful face.

Note: I once won easily after noticing that my opponent had a Explosive Trap in play by  protecting my 2 health minions by not attacking face until he was out of resources, if you choose to work on this strategy make sure you don't overflow your board as a Unleash the Hounds without a taunt in play is quite scary.

Mulligan:

Note: Acidic Swamp Ooze could be a good mulligan aswell to make sure you are prepared for a quest hunter. Scion of Ruin or  Shield of Galakrond are not bad picks either if you feel like your mulligans can't be worse.

Galakrond Zoo Warlock:
Win Condition: Drag game to late and deal with threats

Strategy:

Playing against Galakrond Zoo Warlock isn't as easy as playing against face hunter however you do have the upperhand as you Awaken!'s are going to totally annihilate his Draconic Imp's, however there is a time and a place for everything. If you feel like his board is a bit to big and he is about to Grim Rally you then Awaken! is going to be your best counter.

Note: You should be keeping your Scion of Ruin for his giants however if you feel like his hand is a bit skim you could potentially use it for tempo. Otherwise you play it very similarly to how you would play against a face hunter, let him run out of resources and then destroy him.

Mulligan:

Pirate Warrior
Win Condition: Drag game to late and deal with threats

Strategy:

Easy matchup, all you gotta do is control the board early and make sure you don't get sniped by a Leeroy Jenkins in the late game. Make sure you put your Acidic Swamp Ooze to good use (preferably on his Arcanite Reaper).

Mulligan:

Average Matchups:

Mech Paladin:
Win Condition: Drag game to late and deal with threats

Strategy:

Playing against a mech paladin isn't easy, especially if he start piling on magnetic mechs on to each other. That's why it's so crucial that you keep good control of the board, think ahead and trade wisely. If you can survive a small hit to the face and keeping a minion on board you should, however once you get lower in health you should be worried about a Leeroy Jenkins to the face. Make him run out of resources (which is quite hard) and then win the game!

Mulligan:

Note: If you get a Scion of Ruin paired with a Spirit of the  Rhino and a some way to invoke twice it's not a bad option.

Secret Highland Hunter:
Win condition: Finish off with buffed Galakrond minions

Strategy:

Against this deck you simply want to deal with his threats as much as possible wilest working on your combo. The great thing about this matchup is that his early and mid game doesn't pose much of a threat so dealing with that should be no problemo but carrying into the late game you have threats such as Dinotamer Brann and Dragonqueen Alexstrasza. Simple make sure you keep your health over 10, keep a Scion of Ruin for King Krush or Dragonqueen Alexstrasza and deal with his secrets in the early to mid game as well as possible.

Note: A Awaken! should be kept for Unleash the Hounds and Snake Trap.

Mulligan:

Galakrond Rogue:
Win condition: Finish off with buffed Galakrond minions

Strategy:

Winning against a Galakrond Rogue shouldn't be too difficult, if you make sure to not take too many hits to face when trading you should be able to push to late game and finish off your opponent with buffed Galakrond minions. If you see him invoking a lot make sure you keep Acidic Swamp Ooze for his Dragon Claw.

Note: Be sure to only use your first Scion of Ruin to clear and leave no scions on board as he will remove your second with Flik Skyshiv.

Mulligan:

Note: We keep Spellbreaker against Edwin VanCleef.
