Heyo everyone,
Put a decent tempo mage together, so far it feels very strong, been rolling through the ladder. Dust costs are quite moderate to the delight of newer players. Winrate stats will be added later on, once I get the time. For those who try it in the meantime, let me know what you think and enjoy!
I don't have Malygos, Aspect of Magic so I put in a Dragoncaster. Is there a better substitute?
For me, Malygos, Aspect of Magic has proven itself to be an incredibly strong card for this deck, giving lots of flexibility and options to turn around or finish the game, therefore over time I would still advise to craft it whenever you can. In the meantime, Dragoncaster could be a suitable replacement, my only worry is that by introducing the card, you reduce the total number of dragons in the deck, which could impact the early game consistency you have with Firetree Witchdoctor and Arcane Breath. Furthermore, if you reduce the number of dragons in the deck, Frizz Kindleroost can become a questionable inclusion as well. Overall, you gotta give it a try and see how Dragoncaster performs for you, if you indeed find problems with early game consistency, you might wanna try a second copy of Crowd Roaster instead, it pretty much accomplishes the same, but it is a dragon and has a more threatening body as well.
