I took a lot of inspiration from Hunterace's HCT Championship Deck.

Giggling Inventor- stops big druid and warrior(otk galakrond) minions from attacking face.  taunts are annoying to deal with, rogue just can't sap.

Mutate - it's important to have as small a hand as possible because Hagatha's spell generation will be tricky to manage. playing this on 7 mana minions like giggling inventor is good as there's walking fountain and tirion in the pool, but beware of octosari.  I lost a rogue matchups because of that.

Omega Defender- You will need defensive cards to contest the board. Also important to have cards that don't add cards to your hand.

Ancestral Healing -  this is a life saver, Rush + windfury Siamat clears two minions and leaves a 6/6 taunt. Archivist Elysiana turn won't be too vulnerable. This + walking fountain same as siamat. Combos with Black Knight. Could be used emergency taunt to avoid lethal.

Mind Control Tech - can singlehandedly turn games around at 3 mana, can be replaced with haunting visions. I sometimes would switch between the two.

I'd be honest, I don't run the most optimal list. Having the optimal list will give you better chances against decks like Highlander Rogue and Highlander Hunter. Although I have defeated those,  I still think those are the more difficult matchups. Against Big Druid(super popular right now) and Resurrect Priest? This is already nuts.

Cards not on my list

Shudderwock - I don't have this but I am doing fine without it.

Swampqueen Hagatha - I think this would be the best addition to the deck. I'm still on the fence on whether it would be a wise investment. I probably will craft it once I've tested the new weapon.

Zentimo - I don't want to be disingenuous, I don't actually have it but listed it in the reply(referring to the thread where someone asked about this deck), I just thought it works well with the deck. I could still stomp druids and priests without it, though.

Haunting Visions -  replace mind control tech with this.

Weird Additions?

Loot Hoarder - This deck needs to survive the early game, and you need to draw. This card is perfect as presents a threat that is tempting to trade with.

Elementary Reaction - you have a lot of elementals. Hitting a board clear or transform effects is really nice

Bone Wratih / Khartut Defender - small floody boards like Rogue and Warlock will usually make the mistake of choosing to trade rather than use removal. That way, you can get to late game where you can stabilize.

Lifedrinker - same reason as Loot Hoarder

MVP of the  deck:

Hagatha the Witch: It will clear the board and curves well with Dragonqueen Alexstrasza. Shaman spells are mostly removal, healing, taunts,  transform. So you will live. The useless Totem cards don't even rot in your hand, you can just throw them away. Also, have you seen the two new spells?

Vulpera Scoundrel:  This is an emergency Hex, Plague of Murlocs, Scheme, Earthquake. Even if you don't have those, it will give you at least one good card. If not, don't be afraid of picking the mystery choice. Shaman spells are just sooo good. And did I mention this is a ripe target for Explosive Evolution? 6 mana minions has the best random minions.

General Advice.

Don't be too conservative, use 3-damage scheme on a lackey board if it can save you some health. Health is your most important resource. After turn 5, you will have a lot of great comeback plays.

Post Hagatha, you will make your opponent run out of resources with your unlimited control power. Be careful with overload, and always plan your next turn. If your opponent is running out of steam or passed a turn, that would be a great opportunity to dump your overload cards.

Your win condition is bringing opponents to fatigue, Sometimes you just win by exhausting their hand while maintaining the board. I have Elysiana'd with three cards in the deck. Do it while you have the opportunity. Also, selecting a cheap (value generating)minions is usually the way to go. A random shaman spell is worth a lot now. Galakrond Priest value is shit compared to Hagatha.
