Edit, 1/22: -2 Embiggen, -1 Flobbidinous Floop, -1 Splintergraft | +1 Witchwood Grizzly, +1 Alexstrasza, +2 Wild Growth
General Strategy:
The early game is pretty simple, you want to focus on ramp, cycle and stall. Once you hit turn 4 you can start setting up your wall by casting things like Predatory Instincts, Strength in Numbers and curve out your minions from there. Most decks can't keep up with the raw stats you can put on the board every turn with help from Strength in Numbers and Witching Hour along with the fact that 4 of your minions are untargetable - Winged Guardian and Evasive Drakonid.
*tip* The best spells to combo with Archmage Vargoth are Ferocious Howl against aggressive decks or Witching Hour if Winged Guardian has died.
Mulligan:
Always Keep - Innervate, Strength in Numbers, Breath of Dreams, Wrath, Ferocious Howl, Wild Growth, Predatory Instincts, Swipe
Sometimes Keep - Zilliax (against every class but Priest), Big Ol' Whelp (if you have Breath of Dreams), Emerald Explorer (if you have Breath of Dreams)
I hope you like this deck and, as always, if you have any questions or have a suggestion please comment below (I respond to all comments)!

I just recently found out about that interaction as well from a recent Thijs clip! Might have to give it a test!
I have my own version. I include Malygos as a winning option.
An opponent said after i used this deck, that i will get banned, so thanks a lot!
Yeah i don't normally post on Hearthpwn but his deck is silly... at least from rank 10 to 5 as i just played 22 games and went 18-4. I get that rank 10-5 isn't elite status, but it crushed some ppl. I had a few ppl quit before turn 8 plus lol
@funkiMonki thanks for posting it!
hahaha if you're opponents are salty that must mean you're winning and doing it right!
@bware24fit You're welcome! glad you're having such great success with it :)
Innervate? Please clarity why Innervate over another WW Grizzly- as a genuinely interested player.
Witchwood Grizzly is by far worse than Winged Guardian in most matchups and is only there to help provide an extra turn to get to your better taunts against hyper aggressive decks. Having only 3 attack means after turn 5-6 your opponent can start to make favorable trades into it to kill it and keep their board alive whereas Emerald Explorer and Winged Guardian have more attack so they can clear more opponents minions. Rogue is also the most popular class right now so you'd rather draw your Winged Guardian from Predatory Instincts or res it from Witching Hour because it is more resilient vs Sap/Eviscerate/etc Also, the biggest swings turns in the game come from Witching Hour so once you pass the early game and are looking for value through the mid-late game ressing a Witchwood Grizzly is really bad because the 3 attack does not pressure your opponent at all. Remember, the goal is not only to survive, but also kill your opponent at some point in time too ;)
fun looking deck tobad it loses straigth up to anything semi aggro
It is very draw dependent and extremely reliant on a good mulligan for sure. Look for as much early removal and ramp as you can! Most decks don't have any silence so as soon as you land your first taunt you should be fine
Have someone try a budget version of this? i have Sathrovarr for sure, but cant afford that other legendary..i think its can by somehow playable even budget..
You could replace a Sathrovarr or Alexstrasza with Gloop Sprayer
I've tried the old version too, but this one is so much better.
I also did replace 1 Wild Growth with Sathrovarr.
Working like a charm! Keep up the good work and if you find better replacements, make it work cause it has huge potential.
Thank you! I'm glad it's working out well for you :)
As some others have noted, Gloop Sprayer is also a great inclusion as well instead of Sathrovarr since it can create more instant board pressure
10/24 Taunt with "Evasive" and reborn. Reasonable in this deck.
hahah so much stats!!!! Not bad, not bad ;). I did update the decklist to be more competitive and thus took out the Embiggens. Feel free to keep using them if they work for you and if you're having fun!
What about sathrovar to replace splintergraft? Edit: I see this idea is not original and will give it a shot
After more play testing I updated the decklist which does not include Splintergraft anymore :)
I have to agree with the previous post about Floop. I’ve been running Embiggen/Strength In Numbers with pretty much Treant synergy cards plus Oasis Surger, Xilliax, Crystal Merchants, and the 10 mana giant. I figured I could use treants to lower costs of Mulchmuncher, the 5 mana Druid taunt that drops to 0 if you do a spell over 5 could be situational depending on whether I wanted to trigger the side quest or not, and the giants cost going down with wide boards... however Floop was a Flop in my embiggen/strength deck as well.
After more play testing I agree as well! I updated the decklist with better ramp and minion replacements :)
Cool deck. Some suggestions: Big O Whelp is the worst card of the deck, it sucks your sidequest and its probably the last card you want to play against an aggro deck. I know its for breath of dreams, so I would change two copies for another dragon (a big one to combo with the sidequest).
Embiggen doesnt make sense in a big druid, you want the mana asap to build a wall but at the same time you are growing the mana values. Its also important to say that Embiggen buffs your minions but at the same time is on a card slot, so if you have in your hand its like one card less.
Splintergraff is very greedy but I can see its potential as a good win condition against control decks, so I cant say much (I just faced rogues on ladder playing this deck, so I cant give a solid opinion).
Floop ruined my sidequest sometimes, so I think its not so good. I can see him just as another card that helps against control, but you already run ysera and splintergraff, so I dont think its cool to ruin your sidequest (one of the mpvs of the deck) to run floop.
I think you can add at least one copy of the 3/12 taunt beast to extra consistency on predatory instincts and because of that maybe a oondasta. I hated innervate and I think wild growth is better since the ramp is so precious in this druid and is not a dead card at turn 10 since it gives you other card.
