The deck is pretty standard and the new add of Licensed Adventurer is great...but I would keep Magic Trick, and cut the Banana Buffoon for the slot. Basically the Licensed Adventurer takes the slot of the Banana Buffoon: it's generally better against both aggro and slower matchups. It costs 2 mana then a coin, instead of 3 mana for the Banana Buffoon then another 2 mana for both bananas. The coin might be life saver activating earlier key turns. For basically same reasons (lower cost and flexibility), I would keep Magic Trick and cut out Banana Buffoon because Magic Trick costs 1 mana only but provides flexibility of the right card at the right time. Overall the deck loses 1 created spell to gain way more flexibility.
You're absolute right that this list is pretty standard. I blatantly copied it from TempoStorm about a month ago so no surprises there, but as of now I see that the list on TempoStorm has slightly changed with additions of Mad Scientist and Flame Ward to be better suited against aggro. Fair reasoning. Chenvaala and Leyline Manipulator have been cut. I really liked goofing around with Chenvaala and finding great lines with that so I'm sticking to this version for now. However, the TempoStorm list can also be found on HSReplay and out of the cards I was thinking of cutting Banana Buffoon has the highest drawn and played winrate, Magic Trick is second and Frostbolt is at the bottom. So, I think you're right that Magic Trick should still be in there, especially with Chenvaala still around, but not Banana Buffoon, which is more powerful that you might think, but Frostbolt should go. Thanks for the eye opener!
