Edit: I apologise guys if i didn't provide the HS decktracker stats for the season, i played 90% of the games from rank 5 to legend from my phone. All i can say is it took me around 8 hours of gameplay from rank 5 to legend, with approximately 60% winrate overall during the all climb. Thanks for the upvotes!
Greetings guys i'm Accro a hearthstone player from Italy, i play the game since 2014 and been legend since (multiple top 100/200 finish), i never really posted because HS was always a hobby to me but since i would like to start streaming here i am with the list i used this season to hit legend on both EU and NA servers. It took me a single day of playing to reach legend on NA with it, with a couple hours only of playing time from rank 3 to legend.
I'll post a general plan tech choices and mulligan guidelines and if i'll get 10+ upvoted at least i will also update a detailed guide for each match up,
Tracking - Fundamental card to get out of really unlucky draw situations, you need this card, deck doesn't flow well without.
Hunter's Mark + Ironbeak Owl - In a meta full of lackey rogues with taunts, warriors and locks with massive taunts, these 2 cards alone made my climb so much easier. Not to mention Ziliax, the damn Ziliax.
Edit: Leeroy Jenkins - Some guys asked me about this addition to the deck and all i can say is a 5 drop is too much in this deck. While playing the deck guys you will never feel like you will need those 6 extra damage. We have already insane amount of damage, and keeping the mana curve low allows some very nasty combos with Kill Command and for example Timber Wolf and Unleash the Hounds.
About general plan and mulligan guys, it's really important to mulligan HARD for Toxic Reinforcements. Also the only card you always want to keep is Phase Stalker, everything else you discard it. Things change if you find Toxic Reinforcements in the starting hand. In this case you will keep those card that can nicely curve out with your hero power like Dwarven Sharpshooter, Animal Companion and Eaglehorn Bow. Of course our best turn 4 most of the times is Phase Stalker + Hero Power to complete our quest.
I really suggest you guys to try out this wonderful deck which will make your climb and games against rogues really easy.
Full guide coming up 10+ Upvotes. Edit: Guys, if you would like me to stream the deck please let me know in the comments.
Peace.
Hey thanks for posting, im about to test this deck right now! Its my first time playing any of the Face Hunter variations so one simple question: do you really always go face with everything?
Very good question, the answer is no, i would say not always of course. There are some situations especially against Zoo Lock, Warrior and Mech Paladin where you will need to trade the first minions in the game to get the board control. For example hero powering + Dwarven Sharpshooter or Eaglehorn Bow on the Eternium Rover. Once you get the board and the enemy is "reacting" to your plays, always go face never trade once. Generally speaking you only want to trade minions that can provide too much value for the opponent (like Armor or a very high stats minion)
