This season felt harder to climb the last couple of ranks, in particular after the new balance changes that we witnessed few days ago. The ladder is populated mostly by Rogues, either highlander or just Galakrond, and decks that try to counter it.

Highlander secret hunter worked for me well up to rank 2 (see my previous deck below)

then I felt I needed a change, since my win rate dropped and I realized probably the dragon version in this meta could perform better.

Let's mention a few of the MVP in this list, considering in particular the decks we want to target with it : rogue !

Faerie Dragon one of the most underrated cards in hearthstone, will give you a lot of satisfaction against rogue turn 2 or even turn 1 with the coin, and if you can follow up with Stormhammer [/card] it can gets you a easy fast win in the match up. This little guy is able to deal 9 to 12 damage without being traded, an absolute "beast" ... even if it's a dragon :P

[card]Bad Luck Albatros even if I am not a huge fan of tech cards that counter a single archetype, this card is getting more and more popular in the meta, due to the crazy power of Dragonqueen Alextraxza and Zephrys . Plus the albatros it's a beast and can synergise well with hunter stuff.

The mech pachage with Ursatron [/card] [card]Sn1p-Sn4p Dragonbane [/card] [card]Zilliax doesn't need introduction. These 3 cards will carry you many games, or will help with board clear in some situation where you might be behind.

Houndmaster Shaw super dangerous, your opponents will have to clear it! if they don't this card can cause huge troubles! One of my favorite scenarios is in late game with Shaw on board playing Dragonqueen Alexstrasza

Veranus is great to board clear, with the help of some rush minions or spells can even  provide unexpected lethal shenanigans.

50% Match up:
Galakrond zoo, Galakrond hand lock despite I think Hunter can be favored, these match up can be quite difficult and the mulligan can be key here.

Negative match ups against those classes that can go wide on board consistently

Specifically Treant druid is almost an autoloss unless Zephrys is able to provide some miracles, or you somehow manage to out face damage them.

Mech paladin with a good start and magnetic effects can also be pretty hard, but less impossible than the druid match up

Resurrect priest: let's not talk about this :) the match up is not too bad, but still without support from zuljin I feel it's harder than my previous list.

I hope you all guys enjoyed this quick guide, I will try to upload a youtube video soon with the gameplay, meanwhile feel free to ask me whatever question you have, or just enjoy playing this deck and give me feedback :)
