Hearthpwn

Solid deck, made some replacements for cards that did not do that much for me. Replaced whirlwind with boom squad and cruel taskmaster with vulpera scoundler.

Hey, like others here I'm a fan of control warrior and I just got back into Hearthstone. I scrapped all the old cards that I didn't want anymore and built this deck because it looked pretty good. So far it's not working great for me, but I assume it's because of the meta in low ranks. Couldn't even get to Rank 15 in a couple of hours.

Now I built a Facehunter deck to climb the ranks and that is working out fine. But the comments here and your own rank give me confidence that this deck will be really good starting at maybe rank 8 (?) or somewhere around that area.

Highlander control warrior(unlike the standard one) should be fine at all ranks but I haven't played it around rank 15. Good luck/have fun!

Hello there been a fan of the control warrior archetype for some time now and stumbled across you deck build. Im a fan of this play style it suits me and the way i play also had the majority of the cards already in my collection so thought i would give it a go. Im happy to say that this deck in the current meta is preforming very well when played correctly so a thankyou to putting this deck up on hearthpwn :) . Currently winning games at rank 4 could possibly tweak a few things but works for me thanks again.

totally not, did you see his video? He got so lucky with his random Dragons or Mechs while the rogue did some misplays, yet he struggled - playing Grommash to clear the oger is not a common play. I d say it works 1/3 times. Rogue is just so strong against control, all discover, random bs lackeys

I've been a long time control warrior player who has been on a break for quite a bit. I came back looking to rock some good old control list, and yours did just that.

After crafting, it took me straight back into loving this game and took me from rank 15 to 5 - going to grind back to legend.

Nice List. I've been experimenting on a Highlander Warrior List too and Whirlwind is really good specially against Galakrond Rogue and Galakrond Warlocks.

I'd say Frightened Flunky is easily replacable, the Discover just isn't that consistent/ good anymore.

I like the flunky but I'll understand if you don't. Hope you're having fun and climbing well with the highlander warrior!

This deck loses to aggro anything.

Control warrior is one of the best anti-aggro, if not the best anti-aggro archetype. What makes you type such nonsense?

Usual control warrior has 60%wr against mech paladin, 45% wr against galakrond zoolock and 35% against token druid. Now think in a highlander control warrior: half of the removals and because of that also half of the consistancy on getting them. Man, I really dont think this deck is good against aggro and maybe you got good results because maybe its good against rogues, galakrond control warrior and face hunter.

Extra value from Alexstrazsa, extra board clear from Deathwing, extra armor from Emberscale Drake.  It comes in real handy against Galakrond Rogues and their endless supply of lackeys/dragons.

I'm 9-2 so far with this deck at rank 6, I'm not sure why you all are struggling so much, great deck!

What would you replace to get Molten Breath in there? 

Great work, Bazturd! If you really want to go for Molten Breath, try it instead of the Spellbreaker.

I also cant recommend this deck at this is at rank 16 and not even in the high, hot and salty highground. Better go high with other decks, this doesnt work; in the best way it holds your rank. Pretty disappointing :/ Too many fast decks that easily outrun this one
