Proof (rank 2):
General Strategy:
Through the early game, this deck doesn't do much other than play a Bloodsail Flybooter, dagger up, and try to play an EVIL Miscreant or Seal Fate for a little bit of tempo. Fortunately, not many decks do much before turn 3 anyway. Try not to dump your hand much, and instead keep as many cards in hand as possible to synergize for a big Twilight Drake, cheaper Mountain Giant, value with Spirit of the Shark/ Magic Carpet, etc. Instead of playing the 2 pirates with Bloodsail Flybooter, i'll dagger up on 2 and save them for later.
In the midgame we want to curve out our big minions like Twilight Drake, Mountain Giant, Shield of Galakrond, and ideally set up a Heistbaron Togwaggle on 6 or 7. Usually, play your big minions first, instead of many lackeys. Lackeys are always easy to play later, and can generate you value. From there, you draw like crazy, puke your whole hand onto the board in any random order and win.
*note* The reason this deck works so well, is because we are generating so many lackeys we are bound to get a few Titanic Lackeys to throw onto our giants/drakes.
*note2* Careful about hand size with Spirit of the Shark in play since we will have so many battlecries that generate cards. Oftentimes, when my hand is full I wont play Spirit of the Shark and rather try to dump my hand while generating as much tempo as possible first.
*tip* You can use Seal Fate on your opponent if they are at full health. And I will usually do so turn 3, if they don't have a minion in play. There are 8 invoke cards in the deck so the sooner you can generate lackeys and upgrade Galakrond, the Nightmare, the better.
Mulligan:
Always Keep: Bloodsail Flybooter, Praise Galakrond!, EVIL Miscreant, Seal Fate, Devoted Maniac, Twilight Drake
Sometimes Keep: Backstab (Against faster classes), Sap (against Priest, Paladin), Galakrond, the Nightmare (against slower classes), Lifedrinker (against Hunter), Zilliax (against Hunter), Sea Giant (against Warlock)
I hope you like this deck and, as always, if you have any questions or have a suggestion please comment below (I respond to all comments)!

Curious as to where Kronx is?
how do u beat a treant druid? keep losing to those things!
I replaced Praise Galakrond! × 2 by Sunfury Protector × 2 $)
I really love this deck, haven't played mirror yet after few Rogues in rank 2 standard. Usually I win against highlander and quest rogues. I did only one change - removed magic carpet and replaced it with Leeroy. :)
I used your list as basis to make mine, got legend very fast and im destroying the ladder, will go for rank 1 once i get the time!
Mountain Giant is an excellent choice for rogue now cuz we have early game removal that also generates card advantage, so we can play it on turn 4/5 w/o losing much tempo. But Sea Giant is too clunky, its not easy to keep a big board nowadays and I barely see board flooding decks like zoo or shaman on Legend ranks.
Questing Adventurer can snowball the game early against face hunters and win lost games late, rly recommend you try it!
Thanks, i really like the deck!
Hey FunkiMonki, thank you for posting. I am having tons of fun and a lot of success with this deck, climbing from rank 5 to 2 so far. The only problem is that i have no idea how to play against Rez Priest except for mulliganing for sap. Any tips?
mulligan for sap :P
But seriously, the best tip I can give is to not overextend. When you draw 3-4 free cards with Heistbaron Togwaggle or Galakrond it's tempting to dump them all in the same turn but 1-3 decent sized minions is enough pressure to either force removal or chip them down
I really like this deck. Though, me being the idiot that I am, I can't leave something good enough alone. I always want to personalize, and in doing so, usually fuck myself lol. So I'm trying to keep it simple and sticking to the list as is. And though I can't put my finger on it, something doesn't feel right. I feel like its not at its optimal potential in the current state it's in. I read through the comments and see that you have played with it over a hundred games, so I'm sure it has already come a long way from the initial idea. That said, I look forward to future updates! Any plans to add more to this guide?(Replacement/budget section, maybe more indepth mulligans, or whatever, etc etc. lol.) Thanks for sharing this list! I'd be interested to hear what other cards you have/would consider adding/removing. Anywho, I think i lost my point somewhere in there. I look forward to future editions.

Haha, that's a good mindset though to always be looking on how to improve things! After testing many different cards in this deck and over 100 games I feel that it is in a pretty good spot and 99% refined. As much as I would love to keep playing the deck and tweaking it, I always try to innovate new ideas and decks which means constantly playing with different decks and ideas so I can't really spend all my time focusing on just 1 deck. I always listen to feedback though, and help out where I can!
I'm having a hilariously good time playing this deck, it's doing great.
Some changes I have made was -2 Sap and the Lifedrinker for +2 Belligerent Gnome and a Bone Wraith. My winrate vs Aggro has improved while still crushing Some Warrior, Druid, and other Rogues.
Great idea on the replacements! It does all boil down to what you're facing the most in the current meta so sometimes tweaking a card or two to help weaker matchups is necessary. I think at least 1 Sap is pretty good though just in case your opponent gets a huge taunt or Edwin VanCleef that you can't answer.
Glad to hear you're having fun and success with the deck!
Hi! This deck got me from rank 21 to 10 in a heartbeat, but I've been struggling ever since against mostly othet rogues and face hunters. Are there any tips you have?
Ps, would love to see another video on this deck
Wow, thats amazing! Congrats, I'm glad its working well for you so far :)
Against Rogues, it's all about who plays their Heistbaron Togwaggle or Galakrond first, pretty much it lol.
Against Face Hunters, you're never going to outlast them so you have to race them. You can do so by getting an early Mountain Giant or Twilight Drake down and hopefully giving it taunt with a Titanic Lackey or playing a Spirit of the Shark + Lifedrinker or Zilliax. To increase your odds of getting a Titanic Lackey, EVIL Miscreant and your invoke cards are key. And sometimes you can get a cheap Sea Giant if you proc a Snake Trap and then give that taunt.
Remove the carpet and add Leeroy it is much better. On the other hand deck is pretty good so far my score is 26-10
Wow that IS really good! congrats, and I'm glad you're liking it! :)
Using this deck with 2 cat/ 2 backstab and Kronx. No carpet and shark. Loving it so far, wanna put in Lifedrinkers but can't find any useless card to cut. Overall great deck, thanks man.
yeah, there's so many good cards in here its tough to know what to cut! If only we could use a 35-40 card deck ;). The reason I didn't include the Pharaoh Cat and another Backstab is the meta wasn't TOO aggressive when I was climbing so I could afford to cut some of the early game. And the more cheap cards you have means the less swingy your Heistbaron Togwaggle and Galakrond turns are. I was facing a decent amount of face hunters so the Lifedrinker was great for that matchup.
And thanks, I'm glad you're liking it! :)
BEST GALAKROND GROGUE I"V EVER PLAUYED THANKUS!
Can't say I enjoy this deck very much. Haven't had much success. I'm getting dumpstered by all the singleton decks, can at least eke out wins against faster decks like midrange paladin.
