(at legend rank then 4-3 after reset) Proof:
Strategy:
First and foremost, this is a control deck. Even though it has powerful swing cards in here like Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, Galakrond, Azeroth's End, and Electra Stormsurge + Dragon's Pack combo. With that in mind, we need to conserve our resources when playing. Always try to make your opponent over extend and play that one or two extra minions before clearing with Hagatha's Scheme or Earthquake. We can take a few hits because there is quite a bit of healing and armor gain from our hero cards (and Hagatha, the Witch can give us more healing).
Now, you may be asking, "Why 2 hero cards? Don't the hero powers overlap each other?" and yes they do. HOWEVER, both hero powers are extremely good and way better than summoning a totem so even if you have to overwrite one with the other, you're still better off than you were before. Both hero cards also have great battlecries to swing the game and control the board, and can be recast again with Shudderwock. Against slower matchups, i'll always try to Galakrond first, then Hagatha because Hagatha's value is better in longer matchups.
*side note* - Don't be afraid of using a tier 1 Galakrond, or tier 2 if that's your best play. Because there's only 4 invoke cards in the deck you'll rarely get a fully upgraded Galakrond. Most of the time, I'm fully content with 4/4's.
Mulligan:
Always Keep: Invocation of Frost, Sludge Slurper, Zephrys the Great, Bone Wraith, Devoted Maniac, Hagatha's Scheme, Zilliax
Sometimes Keep: Earth Shock (against Rogue, Priest, Warlock), Acidic Swamp Ooze (against Rogue, Warrior, Hunter), Sandstorm Elemental (against Warlock, Rogue, Warrior), Electra Stormsurge (if you have Invocation of Frost), Lightning Storm (Against Warlock, Warrior), Zentimo (if you have Invocation of Frost), Hex (Against Rogue, Priest), Storm Chaser (against slower decks), Bandersmosh (if going second)
I hope you like this deck and, as always, if you have any questions or have a suggestion please comment below (I respond to all comments)!

this deck just feels way too heavy. rogue, zoo, gk warrior, hunter, literally everything smashes you early game.
Really love that there is a fun Control Shaman deck now! But I have tried my first game against a quest Priest and I immediately hit a wall, fatigue. Any thought on including Archivist Elysiana instead of let's say a Sandstorm Elemental maybe?
Honestly, Quest Priests only make up about 5% of ladder right now so while Archivist Elysiana might help in that matchup, it would make the deck worse in 95% of your other games. This deck only has 1 draw card so you should be about the same fatigue as your opponent. Your value cards like Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, Hagatha the Witch, etc should out value them but i would recommend to try not to overextend your board into their Plague of Death or Mass Hysteria. 1-2 threats at any given time should usually be enough. Zentimo + Hex is usually game over for them as well because it permanently messes up their res pool. Hope this helps! Good luck and have fun :)
I'm quite curious as to how people beat Priests with this deck.
2 words: Zentimo + Hex
Even though it has Galakrond, the Tempest this is a control deck so try being very reactive. If you try to be proactive and out tempo them, you'll lose the resource battle. You should be able to out value Priest every day of the week
Hey, i miss Electra and Zentimo. Any replacement?
Plague of Murlocs and Archmage Vargoth are good replacements for both of those
Great deck! Chapeau!
+1
Finished off all my dust to craft zentimo and bander to give this a spin so not sure how to best utilise them.
I lose less than every other Shaman deck I've tried but still lose... A lot... (Was 8 then 9 now 10) 😂
Don't have electra so might just try swapping archmage for another low cost spell.
i think its situational, if your FarSight discounts an Earthshock, thats bad or if you dont draw your Hagathas Scheme.
I seem to do good against ress Priest or some aggro. Not that good against GalaWarrior.
I'm at a loss to how not to die against all the pirate, lock and rogue aggro I get every single game.
I'm taking like 8 face damage a time by turn four and have no real way to deal once the ooze is used for pirate. Our board clears feel a lot pricier as well due to overload.
Yeah, hyper aggressive decks are definitely the weak point to this deck but definitely still winnable. I would say the most important thing is the mulligan in those matchups. Hard mulligan for as cheap of cards as you can, and sometimes I've even kept Bandersmosh against aggro if I have the coin for the possibility of getting an Akali, the Rhino, Zilliax, Crystalsmith Kangor, etc. I used to not have Bone Wraith or Sandstorm Elemental in the deck but decided to tech them in for all the aggro decks. Some matchups will just be harder than others and that's the way it goes though.
I switched the Bone Wraith for a Plaque of Murlocs and it works great, ty for sharing the Deck. <3
Plague of Murlocs was a close inclusion in this deck, so that's what I would have recommended as well! You're welcome, i'm glad its working out well for you!
"Oh my Gosh, Oh my Gosh, Oh my Gosh!"
Funny and fantastic deck, thank you, Bud!
hahaha you can get some crazy games with this deck!
Glad you like it! :D
Nice deck, how important is Shudderwok ? I guess Bandersmosh is optional as is Siamat.
- what would u say which one is most important?
I included Cumulus-maximus because theres quite a few overload cards
Shudderwock is the most important of those legendaries, followed by Bandersmosh, then Siamat. Bandersmosh is surprisingly good because he can win games on 5 and swing turns like crazy. In a control deck, the games go longer so you have more options for him to turn into something good. However, if you're limited on dust I probably wouldn't craft him because he isn't that versatile and can only fit into a couple of niche decks like this one.
What are your thoughts on the inclusion of the battlecry quest?
tough to say for sure, the deck would look completely different to build around the Quest. As is, there aren't enough battlecries to complete it soon enough to be relevant
