Stuck in level 15, outpowered by the Galaknord

Could you please post a mulligan/guide? Would be greatly appreciated.

Spent 6K dust, looking to play something fun and mage was always my fav class

Sorry guys I was really busy at work the past weeks, so I basiccally never played ranked after the nerfs. I have no idea of the current meta so I can't write any guide at the moment. I hope to have a little more time to play the next days to test how the deck performs at the moment.

0-8 at rank 5.

1-3 so far trying this deck. Feels like it is trying to be one too many things at once (dragon package, defensive control, big minion summons, etc.) and I'm ending up in too many situations with dead cards.  I played against a Handlock and I had Shooting Star and Arcane Explosion as I sat there staring at 8/8 or 9/9 taunt demons... or had Malygos / Dragoncaster sitting dead in hand because I had no other dragons. 

Probably better to just go all in on Big Summons Mage or Dragon Mage?

I switched to Treant Druid. Kill them before their deck has time to make their plays.

I'm enjoying this deck. Thanks! Did modify it a bit as I haven't got Malygos Aspect of Magic & Arcane Keysmith and only one Power of Creation. Swapped in Khadgar, Frizz Kindleroost and Classic Malygos. They are a good fit! Also swapped an Arcane Intellect for a Fireball as I found myself wanting to hit face.

I'm being frugal with my dust so not crafting witchwood cards but would you say Malygos Aspect of Magic is a worthwhile craft?

I crafted it because I enjoy playing mage but I don't consider it a safe craft... I mean, it's a strong card but can be used only in dragon decks.

4 games, 4 losses...maybe I am just a crappy player, but nowhere near winning one...face hunter ripped me apart twice without the slightest chance to react. Galakrond warrior, the same

After saying how good the deck is, I've just been ripped by a face hunter too. Rock, paper, scissors I guess.

As you can see from the image I posted, hunter was a good MU. But meta is changed after the nerfs (also face hunter decks are slightly different) so probably my deck must be adjusted.

For example yesterday I lost a game vs res priest because he played two mind control (completely unexpected). The other decks are changed after the patch, so probably this one has to be modified too. 

I like the deck so far but I'd recommend swapping out Siamat for Kadgar, he just has way more utility considering the conjurer's calling+power of creations. I feel like Siamat is just generic value and not so much utility or potential swinginess as kadgar.

I can try, but with conjurer at 4 mana I feel khadgar is too slow.

Vs aggro if you get two good minions from power of creation or conjurer's calling you win the game. The other two generated from khadgar are irrelevant.

Vs control I think that more removals (siamat) are better then strong plays with khadgar. The deck is full of strong plays (2x power of creations, conjurer on kalcgos or 6 mana minions, big dragons you can discover from azure drake, alextrasza etc.).

In any case he was really lucky with the resurrect pool and my second polymorph was the last card in my the deck.
