Half dragon, half murloc, powerfull cards.
Shudderwock repeating Alex's battlecry is the main reason why this deck exists. Then I wanted to use another powerfull shaman card : Lightning Breath. Alex is already a dragon so let's put some other dragons in there too to make this incredible spell work ! Also, playing with a Dragon package means we can play Frizz Kindleroost which can also proc two times with Shudder and reduce the cost of all remaining dragons in our deck by 4.
Now that looks pretty cool, but this is really late-game-big-boys oriented and we need some early game. What if we use some murlocs that synergize with our already existing dragons ? Such as Tasty Flyfish and Skyfin ; also it turns out that Shaman has the best murloc in the game (Underbelly Angler) so combining murlocs and dragons here ? Why not !
To wrap this all thing, let's just slam some always-good cards and see how it goes : Siamat, both Hagathas, Zilliax, SN1P-SN4P...

Siamat and Twin Tyrant are probably the worse cards of the deck and can be replaced with tech choices : healing, weapon removal, silence etc
You don't really need card draw in a deck like that. There is tons of value, and usually every card draw I get from hagatha is horrible and impossible to use. Most of the time I have hand-size issues and can't even play Alex.
I don't feel like you need any aoe in a midrange deck like this one, but a few cards act as aoe here : Zephrys, both Hagathas, Lightning Breath, even Twin Tyrants. If you really feel like you need more than that you can add Scheme and Earthquake. But you gotta keep in mind : this is not a control deck. You wanna take control of the board, not keep on clearing it.
Maybe that's where your lack of success came from, playing it as a control deck when it's not. For me the results are good !
Tryed over and over; Still fun, but very, very inconsistent deck. I like the idea of compounding murlocks and dragons, but highlander mechanic prevents u from keep ur tempo, so u just lose the board and lose
But still- really fun, very suprising deck for enemies
No crad draw, no aoe
Looks fun, but not working
