The New and Improved Galakrond Shaman

Since the nerfs to Galakrond Shaman were released and new stronger decks have been built, the deck has been slightly under performing. With the inclusion of Zentimo, Krag'wa, the Frog, and Electra Stormsurge the deck is now a powerhouse of both value and tempo!

Combos

Zentimo should be used for huge tempo swing turns. Pairing him with Invocation of Frost allow you to freeze 3 of the opponents minions, generate 3 Windswept Elemental, and you invoke Galakrond, the Tempest 3 times all for only 4 mana. In the same turn if you're able to follow all the up with Earthen Might you generate an additional +6/+6 worth of stats and 3 random elementals added to your hand. Both Earth Shock and Hex are great for removing multiple minions that either have Stealth or Can't be targeted by spells.

Spirit of the Frog in this deck allows you to easily cycle through your deck early on. This is crucial because it helps eliminate top decking low cost spells later on when in most matchups you are looking for your late game value cards like Shudderwock and Galakrond, the Tempest to close out games.

With Krag'wa, the Frog you are mostly looking to generate an additional Dragon's Pack, but can also be great for repopulating your hand with multiple copies of Far Sight, Hex, or Haunting Visions.

Most of the time you are looking to combo Electra Stormsurge with Dragon's Pack on turn eight to greatly swing the tempo of the board state back in your favor. Keep in mind that Flik Skyshiv exists when going up against Rogue because this is the ideal target for its use.

 

I was only able to pull a sample size of games, but after about 3 hours I managed to climbed from rank 4 to rank 2 going 10-2. I plan to solely use this deck to climb to legend and will update the hsreplay statistics here after each day.
