Malygos Galakrond Rogue - 5 to Legend! There are 3 main ways to win with this deck:

1. Invoke Galakrond, the Nightmare 4+ times to get Galakrond, the Nightmare to final form, then play, draw 4 cards that cost 0 and Malygos combo him. You can also draw more that cost 0 with Heistbaron Togwaggle's Wondrous Wand. Or use coins from Umbral Skulker.
2. Draw a bunch of cards with the combo above and play a giant 20/20+ Edwin VanCleef and taunt it
3. Overwhelm them with Lackeys, Dragons, and 0 cost cards

Keep board control and you can overwhelm your opponent with your 0 cost cards and continuous lackey creation.

Just reached legend with this deck after climbing from 5. Pics here of my progression for proof -

How to play:

Mulligans:

Always keep (going first and second): BackstabPreparationPraise Galakrond!EVIL MiscreantSeal FateSI:7 AgentShield of Galakrond

Always keep (going second, including cards above): Bloodmage ThalnosEdwin VanCleefEviscerate

Sometimes keep: Zilliax against hunter/pirate decks, Sap against deathrattle rogue

Edit: I've been keeping Eviscerate recently if I think they are an aggressive deck.

Early turn progression (1-4)

Early turns you will probably be playing weapon and if needed, a tempo SI: 7 Agent. Don't be afraid to use Praise Galakrond! on one of your opponent's minions early game. You are just trying to keep board control early and invoke as many times as possible. You want to get your Galakrond, the Nightmare to Galakrond, Azeroth's End by the time the late game comes.

Obviously use Backstab and SI:7 Agent or EVIL Miscreant to gain some early tempo. You can use Backstab and Bloodmage Thalnos early as well against Hunter's 3 health minions or Bloodmage Thalnos, Preparation and Seal Fate if you need to deal 4 damage, such as against Armorsmith.

If the opponent hasn't done anything early on, you can Seal Fate their face if they are at full health to get an early Lackey down.

If you go second, try to The Coin and SI:7 Agent or EVIL Miscreant to get early game tempo. You could also make an 8/8+ Edwin VanCleef on turn three with a combo such as Backstab, Preparation, Praise Galakrond! as your combo pieces. Be creative!

Mid turn progression (5 -7)

At turn 5 you will usually be playing Shield of Galakrond or Zilliax. You'll want to try to play as many invoke cards as possible up to this point to try and get your Galakrond to the final level.

Umbral Skulker is pretty key at this point. It's a pretty good combo to play her and then evolve her with Witchy Lackey. Having three The Coin is INSANE. It not only gives great draw with Gadgetzan Auctioneer but also you can empty your hand the turn after you play her and then use The Coin to summon a giant 20/20+ Edwin VanCleef on turn 7-

Taunt up one of these and you are pretty good to go -

A note on Heistbaron Togwaggle, ALWAYS get Wondrous Wand. Drawing cards for 0 is insane in this deck, especially if they end up being Edwin VanCleef, Malygos or Galakrond, Azeroth's End.

Feel free to play Kronx Dragonhoof in order to draw Galakrond, the Nightmare. It's more important to use Galakrond's battlecry than Kronx's.

Late game progression (8+)

Here is where the real fun is. With both Wondrous Wand and Galakrond, Azeroth's End, you can draw 7 cards that cost 0. That is INSANE. You have a great chance to draw some crazy overwhelming combos, like 2 Shield of Galakrond with a giant Edwin VanCleef behind them.

The dream combo is here -

Bloodmage Thalnos + Malygos + Sinister Strike x2 + Eviscerate x2 + Galakrond's 5 damage weapon = 43 damage (48 if you count the weapon twice). Most of the time, you won't need to do that much damage to win. I beat a Hunter once from full health and that's the only time I can remember winning from that high.

Edit: Below picture is of beating a random Hunter with a Malygos combo

Note on that - Warriors have been a problem recently. I made this deck when the meta was full of face hunters. Warriors have been out-tempoing me recently.

Play Kronx Dragonhoof if you need a board clear or to heal/deal direct damage.

Obviously I haven't written every single strategy or detail about how to play this deck. Have fun with it! Most games are different due to the nature of drawing cards costing 0. Again, be creative and have fun with 7 cards costing 0 mana and 6 extra coins!
