What happened to this deck as of the current post nerf for rogue?
fricken love this deck man!! THANK YOU
Slow to start and tough to win vs aggro. swapped out preps for pharoh cat and infested goblin which are decent stalls if you can draw them. killer deck once the high end of the deck starts to roll. also added the baron and dropped one blade.
For those lurkers from the last video: The changes he made are -Necrium Vial -Deranged Doctor +Zilliax +Mechanical Whelp
I can see that there are some updates, Zilliax and Mechanical Whelp in, Deranged Doctor out. Maybe also one Silver Vanguard out? Can't tell for sure.

It seems a bit short on early game.. Facing a lot of Secret Mages and can't get to the deathrattle parts! Any tips?
I tried this with 1-2 copies of Batterhead, really a lot of fun and game ending against agro if you can pull him early with Silver Vanguard/Kobold combo, hard to pull of though, cuz you need the full body, not the 1/1 version.
Against secret mages it's kinda pointless, you need eater of secrets or more healing (perhaps put in two Deranged Doctors in that case?
Awesome, always a pleasure to see you update the big rogue every expansion :) I do fear they might give Necrium Apothecary the Barnes treatment (read: +1 mana nerf) at some point, since it synergises so well on curve with the blade... Until then - wheeeeeee!
Made it all the way to 6 and 3 stars and the lost all the way back down to 9 due to bad draws and aggro decks that won on turn 4.
Same! First 3 matches - easy victory. The rest - drew only spells and Spiritsinger Umbra in all of them. This deck is really good with drawing Necrium Apothecary or Kobold Illusionist early but has no chance if drawn too late
do you need the preps? i disenchanted them when they got nerfed. if not, what should i replace them with?
My guess is they are pretty important. Some versions of Big Rogue can do without them, but for the new Necrium Apothecaries, you need a lot of very cheap spells to make sure you can combo when playing it on curve.
Did the same man, been waiting (F2P) for replacements in the long run, but still missing one atm. Might recraft 'm for the sake of fun, but is it worth the 400 dust I keep asking myself> This is how one ends up with 30k dust and never crafts anything :p
Technically (nearly) every week you get brawl pack, so after sometime eventually you gonna get Preparations even if you don't neccesarly gonna focus on buying them (which is more than understandable since if you're playing wild, now when the old packs dropped back to the shop you probably should focus on completing your collection with these).
Lovely.
