Having played around 20 games with Galakrond priest.
I noticed that while he is really strong in mid late game in early in lacks power and when you meet an aggro you don't get enough time to do something about it.
This is a (early) version of my Galakrond priest that I will keep on working the next days.

Guide :
Generally you want to go for your low cost cards in order to have an early game and try to avoid having more than 1 dragon in your hand since you might get Frizz by turn 4 and the more dragons you have in your deck the greater the value becomes.
Whle you want to do the invokes asap since you will get another priest minion in your hand you want to keep Madame Lazul for late game since at that time it is the most beneficial to know your opponent's cards.
Legendary replacements :
Kronx Dragonhoof : Honestly do no try to replace that card.It's the best card in the entire deck and it is a really good for a lot of different situations.
Madame LazulFrizz KindleroostMurozond the Infinite : While all of these cards are great and each card has a role to play in case you don't have 1(or more) here are the replacements I recommend.

In Depth Guide :
Ok first things first.This is not an easy deck to play.I would advice some practice in normal games before going to ranked.Since the early game of the deck is neccessary to be as flawless as possible to have a good mid/late game.
Cards to keep during a mulligan :
Any invoke Cards like Disciple of Galakrond and Shield of Galakrond since they help you upgrade Galakrond and refresh your hand at the same time.
Firetree Witchdoctor,Madame Lazul,Divine Hymn,Scalerider
Cards to always Mulligan :
Forbidden Words,Fate Weaver,Omega Medic
Special Mulligan :
Frizz Kindleroost,if you have her in your opening hand mulligan all your drakes and play her asap even at turn 3 with coin if you can.Since it will give you a huge boost in your deck.
Playstyle :
Generally try to simply answer the board of your opponnent in the early game while invoking Galakrond.
When you have upgraded Galakrond to his second of final stage wait for the right moment to play him since he is a board clear and start pushing the board and game.
Also since Murozond the Infinite can't activate battlecries keep him mainly for strong bodies or board clears.
(When the meta settles in a few days I will have a playstyle for each class)

So I've played this deck for 8 games now and one 6 of those. I played 2 galakrond locks(won both) 5 galakrond shamans (won 4) and one galaktrond tempo warrior which I lost.
I find this deck to have a lot of mid game controll. With Plague of Death only getting its value very late in the game where this deck seems do dominate a lot. My win conditions reached from just outvaluing their late game until copying their galakronds (which worked in 4 of 8 games).
Shaman galakronds 4 8/8 minion combo is easily countered with Mass Hysteria. Or our own Galakrond.
The only struggle I found Is that tempo warrior has such an early pressure game with enough face dmg to kill before we can really defend. I also healed for a lot in every game I played.
As I mentioned in the guide it's still early in the meta but changes will be made.
Frizz and Lazul will probably leave in the final version for Plague(late game clear) and some decent healing.
Still I want the meta to settle so I can have a clearer image on what we're dealing with.
The deck is decent, to be honest. I was misunderstanding it. It's not a pure control deck, like Control Warrior or Controlock from The Boomsday Project.
There's some cards that may help in the upcoming changes:
- Old Guardian gave us some insight about early game control with Bloodmage Thalnos, Penance and Breath of the Infinite;
- Princess Talanji has very high synergy with our Invoke power.
Princess Talanji is a really nice addition and will be added but as I said we will wait to be certain before we change it xD
Its pretty much the biggest mistake less experienced Priet players make, believing they need tons of rermoval.
IF you have a board and minions, you dont need removal either. You can trade and you opponent has to trade.
This Deck has a lot of minions, its all about boarpresence. Plague is completely wrong in this deck.
You're right, indeed. Board presence is a really good way of achieving control and victory, and Plague goes the other way around. But the thing is, this deck doesn't seem to have enough of big valuable minions, especially within a midrange meta.
If you're put to the test of plenty of threats, it's hard to deal with.
Let's face it, Galakrond Priest isn't in a good spot. Look at the winrates. 34,81% in 118.503 game. That's ridiculous.
Following this criteria, i've been having a little success with a version of Control Ressurrect, but needs more testing.
I think this is really good deck, im having sucess with it, once i get used to it, my wr will probably be better. I made few changes, but this is core of my deck, so i just wanted to thank you, for coming with this one.
Changes are necessary but until the meta is settled I cannot be certain of these changes

Lol I discovered Shaman Galakrond with Madame Lazule! Now I has two Galakrownks that are both can be invoked...CRAZY!!!. But I lose, needs more practice.
It's a really tough deck to play took me a lot of games to learn the combos and everything but once you learn how to use it you're good to go
I like it. Usually hate the ressurect or divine spirit/inner fire Priest archetypes so I'm glad a more standard control is possible
There are already good decks for those archetypes so I felt like I should try to create something new since we got so many new strong cards
replaced Madame LazulFrizz with "thougt steal" because i don't know if i shoul desinchant my golden Shu'ma
was it a good replacement?

I wanted to try other galakrond decks so I gave shot to this priest one. I made a showcase of the deck if you guys want to check how I play it, have to admit that I was kinda struggling in the start and in comparison to the shaman galakrond which is full of the ladder it seemed that priest galak was not that impactful. Even though I got some nice rolls from the random minion and managed to do some cool stuff with good rolls eventually winning me the game!
